You're beautiful...

Hmm. I've got some bad scarring from an old surgery that I'm really selfconscious of. I like the idea of tattooing over them, but I don't think it would work in my case. Food for thought though.:)

You are beautiful AS IS...

I too have some scars from previous surgeries...I need to be airbrushed...:D:heart:

PL1 you are beautiful scars and all. So are you BC. Scars don't take away beauty. Scars add character. They're like chapters in a book. There's usually a good story behind a scar. I have one scar that I got from a motorcycle wreck. It's barely visible now. I was goofing off on my motorcycle when I was a teenager - doing something goofy - and paid for it. I have another scar on my elbow that I got when I was a teenager. I went down a water slide with my boyfriend. Something went wrong and I broke my arm. The scar is from the surgery to fix my arm. My most notable scar is also the best hidden scar. I had breast reduction surgery 20 years ago. I could focus on the scars, but I'd rather focus on the knowledge that I have drool worthy bewbage now and that I don't have the constant back and neck pain that I used to have.

Scars aren't ugly. They just show that we've lived a little. :)

I'm drawn to this picture. Everybody knows I'm a sucker for dogs, babies, and elderly people. The freshness of the baby combines with the ageless beauty, grace, wisdom, and gentleness of the older woman to truly define the circle of life. Both innocent in their own way, the baby instinctively trusts the woman, and I can almost feel the woman's heart melting with her pure love for the baby.

Truly beautiful.
