LadyDarkFire (or LadyofDarkFlame) is a common screen name of mine. It's pretty much universal, mainly in the second variation for hotmail, AIM, etc. It was a teasing comment that a dear friend said about me once. He later became much more to me, and although he does not walk this earth anymore, he is always with me in my heart. Looking at the name reminds me of him, and how there was always that one person willing to see my soul, although I would try to hide it behind a mask of depression.

• The last name of an actor friend from overseas who was instrumental in bringing fun back into my life at a stressful time.

"J.O.H." expresses my spirit and opinions, and I enjoy "honoring" these three folks who I love and admire.

When people read my name, I believe it is a little easier to connect it with a person. I hope they will find humor in it, making myself a little more approachable.

For the record the AV is not me (it's a professional photo for chrissakes!) but looks very much like me - I'm a little older and a little heavier (maybe 10lbs) but essentially it's me.

When I first signed up I used Macbeth. Because I was hookedon Macbeth at the time.
Then I got it chahngerd to Snuggle Bunnny, something to do with all the snuggles going around, lol.
Then to Orlanth. I wanted Storm, but that was used, and I wanted something which has something to do with storm. So I chose Orlanth. Which is a Celtic god, w ith one role as a Storm god. He was called Orlanth Thanderas (sp?).

I only use it here though. Elsewhere I use my real name, Peter.

Wolf was my army nickname. It came from my habit of marking my territory by pissing in the air con vents of the car of a certain fuckwitted officer who was constantly fucking us over. Every time he turned on the air conditioning or heater in his car, he would be assaulted by the aromatic stench of urine. He ended up having to sell his car.

Hey what can I say... I was young, silly and pissed off, but it did earn me a cool nickname.
