RexFelis is Latin for King of Cats.

I was given this name after a friend read one of my favorite novels (which included a character named RexFelis, who was the god of cats in it) and saw how cats tend to respond to me.

I am also born under Leo, which is a Lion, also known as the King of Cats.

My Yahoo handle is Catlord17, because my RexFelis account would not let me log in after a while. 17 is my favorite number.

And yes, I am a cat person.

Well Raven has a lot to do with my religion. It is the symbol of occult knowledge. In myth and legend the raven is often a spirit that sets people up in situations of adversity through which they learn many things. Storm because of my best friend and ex fiance Diablo. We were and are together a storm that cannot be tamed. Sorry I was so long winded.

The pic. you talked about it's called an avatar and you need 100 or more to put on up. hope that helped.

when I first started checking out chat rooms last year (specifically hustler chat, RIP), I just picked random nicknames every time I logged in... one day I just happened to have a CD by Tortoise playing as I popped on, so I used that as my nick, never expecting it to stick... but.. somehow... it just fit...

At the bottom you will see little boxs those will do different things like the top left that one will take you to your bio. then the bottom left that will let you reply like i did. i'm not sure what the others do i think the second one on the top is for sending a private mssage or none as a pm. You can do that wit me anytime you want to talk i have msn so i can instant message if you have msn. there are a lot of helpful people here that will help. have fun

Blaze is my RL nickname, everybody calls me that, as for the 'ofLife' part, its just the first thing I came across that would allow me to post. 'Blaze' was taken, and so were a lot of the other different combinations I tried, so I went with this.

As for adding a pic to your name, just to elaborate...
When you reach a count of 100 or more posts, (you can see how many you currently have below your name) go to 'control panel', at the top of the screen, then 'edit options'. at the bottom of the screen, you'll have a new option, which will allow you to post an image from your computer to use as an avatar.
The avatar (image) must be:

a jpg, jpeg, or gif file.
no larger than 150 x 150 pixels in dimension.
no larger than 20,000 bytes.

If you can't resize an image you like, just post it here, I or someone else can resize it for you.

MechaBlade...

...is the name of a comic book character I thought of. He embodies everything I would like to be: strong, intelligent, serious, wise, beautiful, heroic, somewhat immortal, and has a large mechanical sword. If he had a sense of humor, he would be my image of perfection.

I use this as my pen name, figuring my comic book characters will never get anywhere.
