I just tried a small amount of sheep yogurt, fingers crossed...

I made golden brown, toasted sesame Hard Tack- by accident. Thin, tasty. But, very hard. Must be this American yeast. *sigh*

My neighbor doesn't know, but early this morning he gave me half a dozen Cubanelle peppers. Tomorrow night I'm going to stuff them with home made sausage and bake under a blanket of red gravy.

This is Your Food thread, where you can talk about your food. Tell us about the kind of food you eat in your part of the world and/or what you eat on a daily basis. Or tell us about whatever food you're eating right now, and whether it's yummy or not. You can also tell us about foods you enjoy that we might not know, or warn us about foods that you think we should avoid. You can post pics if you wanna.

I grew up in Southern California, home of Foods-You-Hold - burritos, tacos, pizza, etc. I was 15 before I'd learned to use a knife and fork properly. The child of a single father, I ate a lot of fish sticks and tuna casserole with sides of mixed veggies, with pizza on Fridays. It was good, but I always craved more exotic fare. As soon as I got out on my own, I dove into everything I could find. The food is always a big part of my experience in a place when traveling.

I'll try nearly anything. I like spicy and strong-tasting foods and drinks.

I like the spicy Indian cuisine.

Their chicken dishes and native breads are legendary. I love those chicken biriyanis and roasted tandoors.

And I'm drooling right now...

Gollum Precious Pils: A strong Imperial Pils

Smaug Stout: Smaug Stout is styled after a classic Russian Imperial Stout,
but with a subtle hint of Habanero chilis

Bolg Belgian Tripel: a flavorful strong Belgian Tripel

According to BeerPulse, BevLink will be distributing the beer “in the west” this week and eventually make them available across the U.S in the near future.

I am working on a menu for a restaurant project we are investing in. Daunting at times!

Restaurants are a tough business. Good luck.

The restaurant may or may not happen... I am looking at the books next week ... Its part of another property we are pursuing.

If you can model it like the St Elias place in sunny Soldotna, people will be lining up to eat.
