Just had lunch with my eldest son. Defrosted some smallmouth bass I caught this past summer, dipped in egg and rolled in crushed ripple potato chips, pan fried to a deep golden brown. Awesome!! Remember when in my early 20s the days my dad took me fishing on May 24 weekend for pickerel and he taught me how to cook it this way. Good memories.

Lamb shank with morel mushrooms, rice pilaf, broccoli and carrots, latte and quinoa cookie. :D

normally I understand your cryptic posts... but today..

huh??

psssst.... he's got a hunk of meat in the slow cooker.

I will come and cook for you. It'd be all part of the decadency package where you would be pampered. Now give me the details of the meal again. :rose:

Ooo.... I like that idea. Let's see, there's pasta, with some cream, butter, and cheese, topped with a fried egg that has a lovely, runny yolk. Excuse me while I go get a towel to clean up this latest puddle of drool.

Hmmm... what kind of gravy?

Thick, very thick from the local chippie.

I am fortunate to have eaten in some very fine restaurants over the years paying some ludicrous sums of money in the process.

But nowt,I repeat, nowt, can beat chips and gravy at £3.25 from the local chippy.😎

Thick is not a kind of gravy. :)

There are only two kinds of gravy in England:runny and thick. The latter you put on chips (what do you lot call them over the pond?) and the former you put on anything else.😎

That has made me so bloody hungry writing that, you wouldn't believe it lol
