Which character that you've made is your favorite so far? Right now, among the stuff I've published here, it's probably Baoqing, but I really like Maria from one of my Nude Day stories, and I think she'll be my new favorite, despite being pretty much polar opposites personalitywise.

Either Clint Folsom of the "Death in . . ." series or Silas Collins of the "Silas" series.

He isn't in the series a whole lot, but I have a bit of a soft spot for Tsugi Nakatsukasa, the vaguely androgynous technician from my Amy, Captured series.

That said, there's a newcomer about to enter the series who I'm really enjoying writing...

Gee, where to start...

The Susan and Michelle characters have had reoccurring roles in several of my stories. Either as themselves or their alter-egos.

Currently, I'm enamored with Joan and Karen in my God Mother series.

But, my favorite overall would have to go to Max Jones of the Walker Brigade.

From my WIPs, I'm liking; Tam Catt, my half-human space captain and her sentient ship Sugarpuss,
Dusty, a butch dyke who is used to topping but is exploring her inner puppy with a younger femme partner,
Seung, who is another half-human-- with a Russian military background, he's now living in a Kenmore truck with the female driver-- who once was a smuggler on the east coast-- and another half-human, a rescued cat-girl with half a tail...

And to think I used to never write furries!

Hmmm...

I definitely think Dom and Lani from Nothing Gets Through had good chemistry, and they were fun to write.

Jordan (a vampire) and Erica (a witch) from Light and the Darkness were strong characters, I thought.

Right now, I have another hockey story WIP and I'm enjoying the main characters there.

One of my early favorites was Jura Griet from Young Blood, as she was one of my first smart ass, act-first-think-later women.

I had much fun writing Unexpected Gifts back for Christmas 2009. I was just goofing off with that one and all the Christmas references. when it's fun, it's so much easier to write.

I guess I like them all. :)

Edith Sondheim, Ph.D in my unposted novel Inner Animal and its unfinished sequel The Dissertation.

I had a lot of fun writing the character of Dr. Catheter Hoseman, the perverted university researcher from Lesbian School Girl Enema Bondage.

The plain truth is, my favorite character is the autobiographical Robert Alexander Pater, better known as Daddy. It wasn't always autobiographical, but so many people assume we are the same person, I altered my resume to match his.

Luigi Bascom in my story Truth and earlier in my story Easter. He reminds me of me.

Well since everyone else is getting more descriptive, I guess I should, too.

Maria's very bubbly, outgoing, and open, without a bone of shame in her body. She'd get down and give you a blowjob in the middle of church if you asked her nicely, or even if she just noticed you could use one. That said, she's a bit of a ditz, and doesn't quite get social norms, but she's extremely intelligent otherwise, the smartest person in the story.

Ah, more descriptive? I like my Clint and Silas characters because they are open and carefree about their sexuality--as well as because they are real hunks (and Silas is a Renaissance man). They have no doubts, inhibitions, or apologies for their sexuality.

In Clint's case, I have a book coming out this summer that goes back to the beginning and takes him through the emotional phases of being what he is--but the earlier writings on these two erase all of that emotional baggage that goes before just having sexual freedom while they are doing their jobs (e.g., homicide detective and spy on the lam).

Providence's own "Bad boy" Attorney Mark Phillips from my Siblings with Benefits series.

When I first started the series on LIt. I figured that although he was my personal fav. he would not be well recieved here.

A lawyer, narcissitic, a satanist, BDSM Master who treats women as pets, and a paranoid schizophrenic who almost killed someone before getting on the meds. Oh and has an ongoing sexual relationship with his sister.

Figured he would be hated, he was meant to be hated. Apparently I was naive in the ways of what Lit women desire. I have a ton of e-mails talking about how hot he is and he has been nominated for sexiest male in the 12th annual lit awards.

A fellow author (Suna Moon) once told me that Mark was that double cheesburger you see on the menu. Know it's bad for you, know you should stay away from it but you know damn well you will order it anyways.

Personally I like Mark because I saw him as an exaggerated version of myself had I not taken some wrong turns and got an education (always wanted to go to law school). He has embraced everything that I have but to the nth degree.

Awright, awright awready. What's Edith like? On the Kinsey scale of sexual preference she's dead center, just as happy to have a go with another woman as with a man. Most people think she's butch because she tends to dress that way. They're in for a surprise. She's made a lot of mistakes in her life and learned from them. When she sees a junior professor about to start making the same ones she steps in and takes corrective action. As the department chair of a major university and a very astute politician she's no one to fool with unless you want some serious fooling around. And she has lots of 'friends' . . .

Wow... I think I need to start a thread for all the "ordinary" characters. Even my vamps and weres are pretty normal comparatively...

Well in order to keep up with the red hot vamps and were's we writers of humanity have to try to put some unique spins on our characters.

Trust me, many of the human characters described in this thread have totally out "redded" or "hotted" any nonhuman characters I've done. I think the only one I've done that comes closest was one named Misha, in my book Exiled, who was something of a hedonistic exhibitionist. Or an exhibitionistic hedonist. She was a witch. On various levels.

Emily, by far (from "Summertime Sex Ed" and the Hot Tub series). Smart, sexy, playful, funny, loved and loving, she's what I wished I'd been at her age. But I'm envious of her, too, for the same reasons.

But I think I'm warming up to Ginny from "Daughters of Priapus." I wish I could think of other interesting situations in which to put her.

Ahhh Witches! Now as you know Vamps and Lycans are not my thing (well the erotic ones anyway) but Witches are goddamn sexy!! well unless their the Mayfair witches.

My second favorite character that I created is only in one of my lit stories (I have some stuff I can't put up yet because I have not started the BDSM series I am going to start after SWB is over)

Her Name is Abigail Lefay (a witch of course) and she is in Siblings with Benefits Samhain. This was my Halloween one shot and stars Abigail with Mark and his sister from SWB and a few others. It is a total sex fest 9 lit pages and I lost track of how many separate sex encounters there were but it ends in a FFFM on the altar and is the story that got Mark up for the sexiest male.

Although my stories are not supernatural they are dark enough to have tapped into some of the more outre' crowd.

Tough one. I guess I'd have to say it's Rachel from "Angels, Demons and Alex." (It'll be out soon as an eBook under the new title of "Good Intentions!" Shameless plug ftw!!)

I really liked all the protagonists of that story. Rachel edges Alex out because I'm too straight a guy to crush on another guy, but they were both an awful lot of fun to write.

As far as stuff that's still here on Literotica, I find myself enjoying Kyle of "It's Legal on Other Planets!" a lot more now that I'm back to writing it this week. Hammered away at it last night, back at it tonight...hopefully I'll have a new chapter soon.

Good news. Looking forward to reading it. Please put a link in your sig when Good Intentions comes out. I'll buy it.

I like all my characters (of course), but the ones that stand out immediately in my mind are:

Andrea (Andy) and Marissa in 'Out Of Range'.

Rae Arizona in my 'Huntress of the Galaxy' series.

Lauren and Cassandra (Cassie) in 'Blown Away'.

Melodie, Kat, Tiffany, Kitten, Jo and Courtney in my 'Coming Clean' series.

Susan, Becky and Carmen in 'Passion and Politics'.

A link to these and other stories of mine are in my sig. :D

Great question...
My favourite character is probably Jenny from the Bedding the babysitter series...
Although the character closest to me if probably Hannah in my newest story Training Teacher...

Shannon McCluskey, a lesbian clergy who is a wise counselor.
Carol Troumbly, a self-serving gold digger and a generic twit.

Antagonists and flawed characters are the most fun to develop.

Absolutely it gives them a sense of realism. Like those dumb ass Steven Segal movies where he never once takes a beating.

On the surface my character is a pure alpha looks, money, women etc...
He was badly abused as a child and underneath is a total mess. The name of my e-book version is "Broken"

That is why I have gotten good feedback it is the "realism" they remark on. Erotica by nature is full of paper characters because most people just want the sex it;s refreshing to find s a piece where the author made an effort to flesh them out, That is why I prefer series to one shots you get to kknow the players so to speak.
