Your favorite early-cancelled television shows

"What About Brian?" ABC cancelled after two seasons and replaced it with shit like "Cavemen". I'm still bitter.

I can't believe Caveman is still running, I truly believed that after one episode the
folks at ABC would recognize their mistake.

Firefly, obviously.

And less obviously, and less good, but still amusing, and could have had some good jokes left in it.. Jack of All Trades.

The Heights. Theme song was "How do you talk to an angel" it ran for about 3 episodes (I think) back around 92/93. I was a freshman in college and we absolutely loved the show......don't really remember why it went off the air.

Arrested Development. Hands down

Runners up are Carnivale and Deadwood.

I think I remember that!!! I was a Freshman or Sophomore in college then. A group of us gathered in my dorm room to watch it. When it went off the air, we were so disappointed.

YES!!! It was on after 90210 I think.....but yeah, we had about 10 people in our room every week to watch it!

I was pretty annoyed that CBS replaced Joan of Arcadia with Ghost Whisperer.

Does anyone remember American Gothic?

Yeah, I don't really remember it, either, but I remember being upset when they cancelled it. In '96 - jeebus. Old.

yep loved it!

the worst let down was Millennium

they big outcome was suppose to happen at the year 2000, 3 years I watch that show waiting for the big ending..... and they stop it in 1999

Last year they made one season of Jericho and then CBS decide not to do a second season, lefting fans with no ending and with more questions than answers. So the fans get mad and start boycotting CBS, writing to them and pushing to have an ending. CBS finally agreed to make a mini season so at least we had our answers.

dont know if internet was this much developped in 1999 if we could have done the same for Millennium

What pissed me off was they changed the day of the final episode. I was in college and trying to tape the last few episodes and missed the very last one.

OK - call me a geek, but i had to search for info on the show after trying to remember it.....it actually aired 12 episodes from 8/27/92 - 11/26/92. It didn't do that well in the ratings because it aired opposite Cheers (it's final season).

OK - done being a geek now........
