It was recently suggested that @Emilymcplugger and I were one and the same. How come it took you guys so long to figure that out?

In a spirit of fun, who on AH is your doppelgänger? I have my suspicions that @onehitwanda is actually me as well, why have two personas when you can have three? The problem is that my multiple personalities aren’t on speaking terms with each other.

Clearly @SimonDoom and @electricblue66 aer the same person, IRL. But you are allowed to use your imagination. Who is your AH spirit twin?

Not true. Simon is a free speech pro-constitution libertarian with a thing for his mom, I'm an English born Aussie iconoclast who thinks his mom might be hot but that would be disturbing. We just carry on, being a little like-minded (which is possibly more disturbing). But I didn't know we had you fooled. How intriguing!

Well, funnily enough with this topic you’ve actually hit my real life sweet spot (it’s almost like this thread was merely a set-up for me to tell these stories by me…Hmmm).

You see I don’t have just ONE Doppelgänger. I have MANY. In fact this is where the phrase comes from “There’s a lot of me about”.

I’ve been spotted driving, back when I didn’t drive, eating lunch in an Edwardian Square, at the pictures (from behind even I thought that one was me) walking past a charity shop, on a big wheel, as a homeless person, but the best story of my Doppelgänger-ness was about 25 years ago when these two old women called me…by my name, and one of them said the following.

It’s me.
Me (thinks): who?
Kate’s mum
Me (thinks): who the fuck is Kate?
Remember…the cakes?
Me (thinks): WHAT fucking cakes?

It was at this stage they worked out that I was not the person they thought I was and just another dickhead with my face. It has now got to the point where I’m sick of all the me’s out there.

I tell you…if I have to kill another of my evil doppelgängers…I’m gonna lose it.
