So everyone is scared about tariffs. The average American is worried about their avocado or their coffee or their T-shirt costing more money. But you know what, the people that make those avocados and that coffee and that T-shirt are scared shitless right now. They are literally shitting their pants. This is a game of , my dick is bigger than yours. Trump knows that our economy is the biggest consumer economy that exists. Without us they don’t exist. When we are worried about prices of things, the people that make those things are terrified that they won’t have a business or a life, period!! They’re done!!! They know people won’t buy their shit if it’s too high. The average American will find an alternative product. The company in another country will call there Authority (that they pay money to) and beg them to go to the table with Trump to make this go away. They know the endgame is that they will go out of business if they don’t negotiate. This is why the United States has the upper hand and Trump knows it. America is the consumer of the world!! He’s using leverage and our dominance. That’s his game! He knows they will cave. They have no choice. There is no other way. Bargain and negotiate or you’re done. Period!!

He’s a failed fucking businessman who is good at branding his name. He’s not good at negotiation anything unless you’re counting prenups and divorce settlements. He’s never built anything. He failed at instituting tariffs before to the tune of $2 billion that the American taxpayer had to reimburse farmers with and he will fail again. Even campaigning on raising tariffs, he and his team were still patching together ideas at the last minute. He put tariffs on uninhabited islands, but he didn’t put tariffs on Russia. Sometimes the thing that you fail to see is right in front of your face.

Everything has been driven by he U.S having the world reserve currency. After World War II, the US took the lead as the war reserve currency, and we then dictated the world order. Robert Triffin warned us about this in the 1960s. He talked about if you have the world reserve currency, the rest of the world needs Dollars to operate on your currency system. They call it the Triffin’s dilemma. That means you will have to export dollars and import goods to make the system work. The result of that is that you hollow out your manufacturing base in America and you import goods. This has happened since the 60’s(maybe earlier) and here we are.

It really comes down to this. The world cannot operate without dollars at its current state. I’m not saying that will not change. It will eventually turn into some other country having the world reserve currency. But until that changes, the world is kind of at the mercy of the dollar and the United States. It’s just really hard to make things and be the world reserve currency

But I do like the radical nature of cutting costs on government expenditures. I do like the idea of bargaining with countries who tariff us.

So after World War II, we had the General agreement on tariffs (GATT 1947). At the time, we were so rich from winning World War II that we were able to try to rebuild the entire global economy based on our wealth. We allowed tariffs on us but we didn’t charge any tariffs on anyone else. That worked for a very long time. But we are at the 80 year mark since thay act went into place. We are not in a place now where that is a fair trade. Back then GDP was through the roof. A wife stay at home and her husband went to work. As you can see those days are long gone. It’s time for a change.

Bad economic times spur innovation. Our economy took a wrong turn when the tail began to wag the dog, when marketing misled consumers. Hard times will sweep that crap away, and producers in America will have to adapt to a new market of relatively struggling American consumers who demand value, not novelty.

Decades of boondoggle waste in government, decades of corporate bailouts, decades of crony capitalism subsidies, decades of deficit spending....are all going to come to a crashing halt. That is trillions of dollars of tax burden suddenly off the backs of individuals and business.

Endless borrowing and endless handouts by the communists, aka Democrats, will come to an end.
