It's funny that not one person on this board will admit to posting Unreg at times, for fear of tarnishing that golden rep they're so fucking concerned about.
I don't get why people can't just say what they need to say, straight up, to the point and under their own names. It's a friggin message board. In the end does it even matter what people think of you?

Unregs flit around these boards sounding off constantly, knowing things that only regular posters would know, yet if you took a poll here, not one person would admit to ever doing it. It's pathetic really, but what's even worse is that half the assholes who do do it don't even have the smarts to change their writing styles.
Laurel seriously needs to get rid of the Unregistereds being able to post - it'd be interesting to see if any of these people have the cojones to say the same shit under their real name, or if they're so concerned about a bunch of virtual stranger's opinions that they'd shut up.

The people who have to post unregistered are the ones who seem all nicey nice on the exterior. They are the ones that can call those of us who don't hide and those of us who post our thoughts "assholes," "bitches," etc. It's interesting to find out that the people who many feel are just harmless or happy go lucky are really the board's most viscious trolls.

Freya the unregistered post has it's necessities. I've seen people use it to vent emotional issues they don't want others to associate with them. But mostly it's abused, as are most things offered with the idea that people will be adults and use them responsibly.
But as I've said before I don't like the idea of asking Laurel to change things on the site just because some people don't like them. The idea behind Lit is supposed to be a place where adults can say whatever the hell they want without sensor or moderation. That means you have to take the good with the bad. Personally I'm willing to do that. If I wasn't I wouldn't post here.

I'm not asking her to do anything. I just think it'd be interesting to see if these strongly opinionated people would be the same if they had to do it exposed.
And honestly, the ratio of good to bad Unregistered posts is so lopsided as to make it completely worthless anyways.
