to look like a complete and total idiot. I went to dinner tonight with some friends, including one I'm sort of attracted to and made an ass out of myself. We sat down at the table and the candle wasn't lit, so I was going to light it. It was a taper, and I don't know what the hell happened, but somehow I got my face too close to it and burned my eyeball. Yeah, I burned my eyeball. It's fine but it stung like hell for a few minutes and everyone was laughing at me. Looking at it a few hours later it was funny but I felt like a total schmoe at the time.
