Hi everybody - I am warmed by your good wishes. I'm feeling ok this morning. I go visit the Dr in about an hour for the "day after" check up. Seeing to read and type if a little tricky right now, but I expect that to improve aver the next few days. I've been watching Harry Potter movies and letting the cats sleep on my lap (damn pussies)

Oh - I have my morning cup of tea right here in my hand. I do prefer black tea with cream and sugar, as long as it is a full bodied tea- English Breakfast and Irish Breakfast has been my number 1 & 2 for years but these is now a store in town selling PG Tips, :p :D Once I leave my house the tea offered around here is just lousy so it is coffee as my drug of choice.

I'll catch you all up as soon a I can.

Well, he's obviously in mostly decent shape if he's whining for coffee again.

whining  - this Top never whines *stomps foot*

it was more like a whimper

Thanks again everyone for your well wishes and support. I'm doing well today. The Dr. said all is going as it should. I am scheduled to return in two weeks. I have three different drops to use 4 times a day for the next month - no big deal.

The vision in the right eye is slowly starting to settle down. It could take up to 4 weeks before it is ready to fit for a new eyeglass script. The stunner is the total lack of painful glare, the amount of light around - it is like someone changed all the 40 watt bulbs with 100 watt, and the clearly of white - the cataracts are a yucky yellow and as they develop they filter all colors thought that yellow. Last night after I took the bandage off my eye I was stunned that my kitchen counter top is bright white. If I close my right eye the counters are off white, if I close my left eye they are bright white.

In two weeks, if all is ok, we will schedule the procedure for the left eye.

I expect it will still be a bit before I am back up to full wise-assed speed with reading and typing - but rest assured no posts are safe, when you least expect an ass-hat pounce, I'll jump :D

I have this mental picture of you sitting there doing this funny one eye open thing. You know first the right eyes' open, then the left, then the right, then the left. LOL

I've done that, since I'm legally blind in my right eye, and kinda average in my left. (My right is 20/600ish and my left is 20/200ish.) It's weird to notice how much worse my eyesight is when I'm not using my left eye.

It is fascinating how our brain sorta averages the stuff from the two eyes and makes the best image possible - and if one is not careful it will fill in the parts that are not clear with what it "thinks" is there and we think we see something that is really not there.

the body is really a miracle ;)

Well it works out for me. If I was only seeing out of my right eye I'd be SOL. lol

That's going to smart a little..........awwwwww

You need the big font Fu ? I'll petition the entire BDSM Board to make all posts in the next 24 hours in size 7 immediately. It's your call dude.

Cool you're okay . Not to discount the concern or discomfort . Only comparison I can draw was when I had a chemical burn to one eye a few years ago . I wanted to die the pain was so extreme.

:calls out to the page "runnnnnnnnnnn dude " :

Good Friday here already Fu , although I am not religious 'in the biblical sense ' , I have never eaten meat on this day. It also happens to be one of the few days of the year that I crave steak like a woman possessed. Taking a short sojourn in my kitchen now for poached eggs & smoked salmon . I will try and stagger our breakfast timing to give your Advil a fair chance to kick in....... :D

yes - there is fresh snow on the ground and forecasted overnight of 28 deg.

It could well be 85 deg in two weeks.

indeed I do - but I never equate a "map of Tassie" and fish

So the salmon is cold water wild caught then (not farm raised) or do you know?

:sighs: excuse me pleaseeeeeeee I will brb I need to go decant it from the fridge and report back....

Edit

" Tassal Premium A Grade smoked Atlantic salmon blah blah rich omega 3 blah blah ........."

The source was not recorded on the packaging so I googled..............

Tasmanias largest salmon producer Tassal is to be placed in receivership The company recorded a $5 5 million loss in April its first in ten years of trading ....

Tassal Ltd of Huonville in Tasmania is on a list of stocks to be watched in 2007.

Shareholders of Tasmanias biggest salmon producer will be asked to approve a merger deal with a smaller competitor The merger of Websters Aquatas and Tassal ...

I have to wonder if selling salmon roe counts as insider trading and Fu have you a decent recipe for blinis ........... :D

Ohhhh and it's farmed !!!
