I am 45, disabled psychiatric nurse, happily married to my PYL, settling into a life filled with fun and frolic where I can find it. heheh nah although working the field was "interesting" to say the least. I have had arthritis since I was a wee one and I definitely qualify for the bionic woman!

just to share information

I was watching a show on prison romances
How even though the prisoner and the outside romance
do get to see each other occasionally
the romance is based most only the exchange of letters

I am thankful for physical health.

This last year has been interesting for me in learning alot more about myself. I have hurt some people I never intended on hurting. I have been hurt as well. I have given up on alot of notions that I previously bought into. I have learned that some fantasies are best left there in fantasy. I have learned the less I say is equal in proportion to the amount of shoe leather I ingest more frequently than not. I learned that friendships are often very fickle things. I have experienced many personal victories and have had just as many disappoinments.

I guess all in all I am holding my own I this thing we call life.

I often think about you all here in your living room, Kat, Bandit and yourself and those who drop by from time to time....and I know the health struggles you all face in your lives and continue to hold out my best wishes for you all. That even through the hardship you face that you all can find a measure of joy, peace and happiness.

I wanted to share that this thread is about us Doms being human
and humans fuck up and sometimes life fucks us up ... and some do not want to forgive us ...

yup me too
and sometimes no direct ammends can be made
and sometimes we did not hurt anyone ... there closed mind hurt them ...

For some reason some Doms and others think that Doms are super human
not me

I remember when Artful died ... yup we die also

Also as a human we Doms have the right to set boundries
it is not just submissives that can have limits

I have seen that much pain and hurt comes from the refusal of many to use

and every year go down and are in the infield

Hello Richard.

Yep I have done both. As a kid I read the series many many times. The only series I ever read more than them was Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit.

C.S Lewis and Tolkein are among some of my favorite authors.

I thought they did a great job of the movie. The ending came rather abrubtly, they could transistioned into a bit better, but all in all I thought it was a fair representation of the written counter part.

I would certainly recommend see it.
