So I'm not gonna say my book title, but I am having first-timer pains with publishing on Kindle.
Namely: I marked it as both "fantasy - contemporary" and "erotica," and so naturally when it went live it just doubled up on "erotica."
This is sad, because it is not my target genre. My story is "urban fantasy with lots of smut," not "smutty smut smut with fantasy backdrop."
Now that I have gone in and corrected it, my "bookshelf" tells me that the story is pending all over again, after I've already made a few sales.
Le sigh.
Feel my pain, AH! Feel it!!
