happy birthday LJ... i'm packin' up my boom box and banana hammock as i type this... will be there to do your special birthday dance shortly.

Hi everyone, thank you so much for the flowers, songs, cakes, and the par-tay!

My birthday night was wonderful - enjoyed every minute of it - especially since the Bears turned it on and pulled off a win in the last quarter! :nana:

One of my friends also has a birthday in October, so since I've moved back, we're reinstating our annual tradition of hosting a joint birthday party on Saturday...we're turning 88! That's going to have to be one giant cake for all the candles!

:)

May I come along so you can look up to someone older? ;)

Absolutely!

(I think someone has something like this in their sigline somewhere, and I've appropriated it as my mantra this year...

I'm not 39. I'm $34.95, plus shipping and handling...)

I turned 39 at my last birthday, actually. In fact, I enjoy celebrating turning 39 so much that I've been doing it every year since the Bush who could read was President.

If you're 39, can I be 21? :D

i was 29 for several years... i'd tell people i was 29, then mumble "and 47 months," or whatever the appropriate calculation was. once the math became difficult i ceased.

That's an excellent idea, though. Confuse 'em with math. *nods*

Am I late? Oh boy I am late!
Happy Birthday anyway!

May the coming year bring you more happiness and piece of mind :rose:
