Those Righties lurve the man-meat.
Story here and another one here
Jeff Gannon Redux

If you are familiar with Cpl. Matt Sanchez, you probably know him as the handsome 36-year old Columbia University junior and USMC reservist who recently made the rounds of right-wing talk shows like O'Reilly Factor and Hannity & Colmes, where he received praise for coming forward and complaining about his treatment at the hands of Columbia's "radical anti-military students" who called him names and mocked his military service. Sanchez was then feted at the CPAC conference where Ann Coulter made her "faggot" remark. Sanchez wrote an op-ed piece on the Columbia experience for the NY Post and began a blog and MySpace page chronicling his media exposure.

Now, if you're like me, you might think, "Hmm, 36 years old and he's a junior in college and only a corporal in the Marines?" Odd, but not totally implausible. But Sanchez' face tinkled a few gay bells out there in fairyland, and last night I began to get emails letting me know that his rather late appearance on the Ivy League scene was because Sanchez has had a lengthy career in gay porn, working under the names Rod Majors (NSFW) and Pierre LaBranche, starring in such art films as Jawbreaker, Donkey Dick, and Glory Holes Of Fame 3, where his "11-inch uncut monster cock" earned him a devoted following.

Now, porn stars are entitled to enter the miliary, although Sanchez obviously had to do it on the downlow. Porn stars are entitled to have a right-wing ideology, even though the very people he supports would love to see gay porn stars strung up by the nuts. (Wait, have I seen that movie?) But, Oh.The.Irony. of Sanchez appearing with Bill O'Reilly who only a couple of days went apoplectic over San Francisco's "Colt Studio Day." And OH, the irony of Ann "Faggot" Coulter happily posing with Sanchez for a photo-op. The right-wing has gobbled this porn hunk up with a spoon, never knowing that tons of men have gobbled up his monster cock ON FILM. I love it, I love it, I love it.

Thanks to those that tipped me to this story. In particular, please visit the blog of Tom Bacchus, who has written a thoroughly hilarious post on Matt Sanchez/Rod Majors/Pierre LaBranche, with many totally NSFW photos. Now let's all watch how Coulter, Malkin, O'Reilly, etc try and spin THIS one. This is gonna be good.

Urgh. Just great. Now he's ruining my happy place with his association to her. Dammit, gay porn was my only safe haven.

He's a sleeper, of course. A plant triggered to surface and smear at just the right time -- like a political dirty sanchez.

tough to spin, but they've given it a try.

right wing news and malkin essentially say 1) the past is the past; he's reformed and become an upstanding [but still gay?] conservative; 2) it's bigoted to focus on homosexuality to discredit someone or their ideas, which is what the LEFT is doing!

In Defense Of Matt Sanchez

One of the most fascinating things about the left is that they often accuse conservatives of hating gays in one breath and then display rampant homophobia in the next. From their assaults on Mary Cheney, to their outing campaigns, to the unfounded accusations liberals regularly toss around about some Republicans being "closeted" homosexuals, the hostility towards gays who don't take marching orders from Ted Kennedy, Kos, & Howard Dean never ends. In fact, the best parallel to it is the way that liberals savagely attack black conservatives, sometimes in racist terms, simply because they're black and conservative.

The latest conservative they're attacking is Matt Sanchez, a member of the Marine Corps Reserve who won a well earned Jeane Kirkpatrick Academic Freedom Award at CPAC.

Here's the rap sheet the left is pinning on him via the Huffington Post:

"As several gay blogs revealed late yesterday, Corporal Sanchez was known during his halcyon days as Rod Majors, a majorly well-endowed gay porn star. (Photos of Corp. Sanchez aka Rod Majors in action can be viewed here. I warn you, this link is NOT to be clicked on if you have minors around or if you're in a crowded workplace). According to Tom Bacchus, Sanchez was also a $200-an-hour male prostitute who advertised himself (here) as an "excellent top."

There is of course nothing inherently wrong with Sanchez being a gay porn star or a male escort."

First of all, there is "nothing inherently wrong with Sanchez being a gay porn star or a male escort?" Wrong answer. Yes, there is something wrong with it and if he were still doing those things, I wouldn't want him given an award at CPAC or for that matter, even attending CPAC.

But, whether you're talking about Sanchez or Jeff Gannon, if they want to go in a different direction with their life, I think that's a good thing. There are plenty of Republicans, gay and straight, who have done dumb things in their past. That doesn't mean they're forever branded with some sort of scarlet "A," or in Sanchez's case, a Scarlet "GP," for gay porn.

The mistakes Sanchez made years ago aren't that important compared to the fact that he's doing the right thing today and standing up to, "anti-war thugs on campus" at Columbia University. He deserved his award and even though he doesn't have a perfect past, conservatives should be proud to have a guy like Matt Sanchez attending CPAC.

The f-word and porn stars and CPAC, oh my

John Hawkins at Right Wing News writes "In Defense of Matt Sanchez."

B. Daniel Blatt skewers leftist attackers and argues:

Matt Sanchez is a part of all that he has met. His past figures into the man he has become. But, people do have a right to their own private lives, to deal with their past mistakes — or merely just past experiences which no longer represent their present actions — in their own way. Once again, it seems that all too many are all too interested in the apparent hypocrisy of conservatives, more interested in defining us so that they may more readily dismiss our ideas. Without even considering what we have to say.
***

Well, this is an interesting development, to say the least. As I noted on Saturday, one of the honorees at CPAC was Matt Sanchez--a corporal in the Marine Corps Reserve and junior at Columbia University who spoke out about anti-war thugs on campus. He received the Jeane Kirkpatrick Academic Freedom Award and a standing ovation from the CPAC crowd at the Ronald Reagan Banquet.

He has also posed with Ann Coulter and me, been published in the NYPost, and appeared on Fox News Channel's O'Reilly Factor and Hannity and Colmes. There are now tawdry rumors about Sanchez's past lighting up the left-wing blogs. Cpl. Sanchez says he will respond on his blog.

It's only a matter of time before the MSM goes nuts with the story. Report on the everyday progress in Iraq? Forget it. Sex, homosexuals, and the GOP? Get ready for wall-to-wall coverage a la Foley, Gannon, and Haggard.

Should CPAC organizers be embarrassed if the rumors about his alleged porn star past are true? Well, yes. Next time, they should do more extensive background research before handing out an honor with Jeane Kirkpatrick's name on it.

Does it take away from Sanchez's actions and words in defense of the military at Columbia? Absolutely not.

I guess we'll see who the real bigots--on both sides of the aisle--are now. I have a feeling Ann Coulter isn't the only one who'll be tossing around the f-word as the story develops.

And not just in the "schoolyard," "sophomoric" kind of way.

An e-mail from a Columbia student...

//Mrs. Malkin -
What I have to say isn't especially relevant given the larger nature of the brewing controversy around Corporal Sanchez, but considering that you're a rational voice that I respect I felt I should drop you a quick line. You have the ability to influence the nature of this debate in a way that I cannot, and given its current course I'd like to see some readjustment.

I'm a freshman at Columbia and I enrolled in the USMC PLC officer training program as soon as I got here. After Matt discovered that I was involved with the program he made it his personal mission to ensure that he closed some of the gaps between my (hopefully) future as a Marine officer and the lack of support offered by the fools here in Columbia's administration. He has been in the gym with me, often three to four times a week, despite taking classes and working full time, offered his advice as a current Marine and opened up considerable opportunities for myself, including two appearance on FOX News. Simply put, he's a great guy who goes the distance for anyone that asks and never asks for anything in return.

As for the award, the work he's done on campus here deserves such recognition. As I look at it, these events are from a past that doesn't resemble his present in any way whatsoever, and it wouldn't be fair to consider ignoring his achievements because he made fairly bad judgments in the past. In addition, his work as finally amounted to more than mere agitation, and this week Columbia's provost finally caved to the pressure and expressed a willingness to acquiesce to the demands of the veteran community on some issues. It's a start and we can mostly thank Matt Sanchez for that.

Most all of our respected public figures have made mistakes, and apparently Matt is in that category. Still, I count him as a close and valuable friend and pray that this event won't overshadow the great work he's done.

As a disclaimer: I'm not a rabid lefty Columbia student, but a registered Republican and member of the NRA, so rest assured I'm not hammering any sort of gay rights agenda or championing pornography as a First Amendment right a la Larry Flint.

Regards,
Austin Byrd//

Sanchez responds at his blog.

Seems sincere, if not exactly John Stuart Mill. I wonder if he overestimates conservative hospitality (in the future), and forgiveness. Oh, and he does NOT like porn.

http://mattsanchez.blogspot.com/2007/03/saloncom.html

I don’t like porn, it reduces the mind, flattens the soul. That’s not hypocrisy talking, that’s experience. If I started off with liberal leanings, being on a gay porn set should have been heaven. In porn, everything taboo is trivialized and everything trivial is projected. How does a conservative trace his roots to such distasteful beginnings?

Like all followers of a cult, it’s tough to figure out when you stopped believing in the party-line, but I can tell you that by the time I finished my summer tour of the major studios, I was pretty disgusted with myself. It was an emotional low, and the people who surrounded me were like drug dealers only interested in being with the anesthetized in order not to shake off the stupor of being high. Why did I become a conservative? Just look at what I left, and look at who is attacking me to today?

Let’s face it people, you’re all cynical enough to know that if I had espoused liberal causes, spoken out against the military, got a liberal award for courage and then outed with a porn-past, you’d be clamoring for my memoir, and nominating me for a diversity ticket with Barack Obama. Instead those who complain about wire-tapping reserve the right to eavesdrop on my private life for political brownie points. Sure, I took a picture with Ann Coulter, I don’t endorse what she said, but anyone in the military would defend her right to say it. I realize that sounds prohibitively phony, but gee it’s really true! [...]

---
I learned a lot at the CPAC, mostly that I’m not as right-wing among the true believers as I feel in a place like New York, where people glibly promote diversity unless you don’t agree with them. I also learned that there are noteworthy citizens in this country who are dutifully engaged in public discourse and intimately committed to the autonomy of the individual. I accepted my award and spoke with great pride.

I am embarrassed to say, I thought my fellow conservative friends would distance themselves when this news came out, and I’m touched that the opposite has happened. I’ve been asked to give my point of view, invited to speak at various functions, invited to back on TV and most people have gone out of their way to give me their vote of confidence and avoid a rush to judgment. That’s really nice, I appreciate the support,....

'In fact, many of them have expressed a desire to get to the bottom of the situation, and then they give me a confident wink. They also want to have oral discussions about the Vice President, who seems to be on a first-name basis with lots of men here at CPAC! In fact, everyone here just seems obsessed with Dick."

Quite amusing.

The politics of porn actors and pornographers always intrigues me. On the one hand, you'd imagine them to be a very pro sex, freedom of speech loving bunch. On the other hand, a lot, especially those who produce and sell porn, are capitalistic and money obsessed. I suppose a lot are what we'd call Libertarian, or more like Arnold Schwartznagger Republicans.

No sorry... Coulter posing with a ex-gay porn star is funny no matter how reformed he might be.

My only comment on this is: Poor Rod Majors. His career is ruined beyound redemption after posing with Coulter. Nobody would touch that 11 inches with a ten-foot pole now

Rod and the Right's response reminds me of the Steve Martin movie Leap of Faith when it's been discovered that the preacher was a petty-thief, blah..blah.

Steve Martin jumps into this sermon about "Who are you going to trust to lead you down the path of rightneous... a tanless priest who has never known sin or a man who has been down to the depts of depravity!"

It is FUCKING hilarious... just like the Right and Rod's stance on this.

Like they said on Gay Porn Blog, his wankability factor now is zero. :(

Excellent commentary on this, with links to other articles, at this blog.
Excerpt below:

....And then we arrive at erstwhile porn star and man-whore Matt Sanchez. In an effort to show how broad-minded they are, some conservatives are claiming that his past doesn't matter to them (since now he's saying exactly what they want), and Sanchez himself published a painfully narcissistic and self-serving column in Salon. Guess what, gang? Not only is it The Left's fault that his sex-for-pay past has come to light, he's not even gay anymore, just like Ted Haggard. Clearly, Sanchez is at heart neither liberal nor conservative, but a shallow, craven opportunist who doesn't care what he has to say or do for attention as long as everything is All About Matt Sanchez. This should cast considerable doubt on the veracity of his tale of harassment by Columbia University liberals, as well as his claim that he left porn because it was "too liberal".

I know. Huh? Porn is liberal? That's a news-flash to me. In fact, I can't think of anything more conservative in its essence than pornography (except maybe prostitution), where people of both genders are objectified and reduced to one of two groups: the penetrated and the penetrators, with all of the status and control ceded to the latter. It's a world where physical beauty is everything, dominance is paramount, and in the end, it all comes down to the money. Only conservatives seem to have that certain knack for breaking everything down to how much it costs and how much you can make by exploiting it, up to and apparently including man-on-man buggery.

But in truth, it shouldn't surprise any of us that this simmering culture of homoerotic exploitation is there just below the surface of everything the Right Wing says and does. As Glenn Greenwald pointed out when he correctly identified the Right as an Authoritarian Cult, conservative culture is all about domination and submission. It's all about who has power over whom, whether we're talking about the US and Iraq, Scooter Libby throwing himself on his sword to save Cheney's neck, or high-ranking GOP operatives paying "tops" for hire like Gannon and Sanchez $250 an hour to come over and, uh, dominate them. ...

a feature i noticed in the discussions by Malkin etc.

the follies of a republican, no matter how recent, do not 'stick'; just as Haggard is past his homosexuality.

the follies of leftist are an indelible stain on character that is unredeemable. Coulter--like some posters here-- will allude to Clinton's blow job years after the fact. Coulter's stock in trade is to take an item from John Doe's past and 'tie' it around that fag liberal's neck and hang him with it .

Here are three examples, one from today or yesterday:

====
Most recent Coulter column, on Libby.

[Column on Libby's Conviction]

[...]As a result {of Fitzgerald’s overzealous prosecution}, Libby is now a convicted felon for having a faulty memory of the person who first told him that Joe Wilson was a delusional boob who lied about his wife sending him to Niger.

This makes it official: It's illegal to be Republican.

Since Teddy Kennedy walked away from a dead girl with only a wrist slap (which was knocked down to a mild talking-to, plus time served: zero), Democrats have apparently become a protected class in America, immune from criminal prosecution no matter what they do.

======

Coulter’s column a few months back.

CLINTON'S LATEST GLOW JOB
October 11, 2006

With the Democrats' full-throated moralizing of late, I'm almost tempted to vote for them — although perhaps "full-throated" is the wrong phrase to use with regard to Democrats and sex scandals. The sudden emergence of the Swift Butt Veterans for Truth demonstrates that the Democrats would prefer to talk about anything other than national security.

Unfortunately for them, the psychotic Kim Jong Il seems to be setting off nukes, raising the embarrassing issue of the Clinton administration's 1994 "peace" deal with North Korea.

At least with former Rep. Mark Foley, you could say the Democrats' hypocritical grandstanding was just politics. But in the case of North Korea, Democrats are resorting to bald-faced lies.

Current New Mexico governor and former Clinton administration official Bill Richardson has been on tour, bragging about the groundbreaking Clinton administration negotiations with North Korea — keeping his fingers crossed that no one has access to news from 1994.

In 1994, the Clinton administration got a call from Jimmy Carter — probably collect — who was with the then-leader of North Korea, saying: "Hey, Kim Il Sung is a total stud, and I've worked out a terrific deal. I'll give you the details later."

Clinton promptly signed the deal, so he could forget about North Korea and get back to cheating on Hillary. Mission accomplished.

You know, I have to take offense to Sanchez being called gay.

A lot of 'gay' porn stars aren't gay... they suck dick for money.

Man-whore is okay... but gay, just because a lesbian might take a dick for money doesn't make her straight, right?

Are gay men actually that discerning?

I guess in my experience, a lot of gay men are willing to ignore huge, flaming negatives about a guy if he's hot and well hung. Suppose it's not that different than straight men's willingness to ignore major character flaws in hot women.

Yeah...yeah... but shit spewing out of her mouth is VERY hard to ignore. No matter how much toilet paper you stuff in there, the smell just keep wafting out.

That's right, he's probably just gay for pay, which is even more depressing because that means he might have banged her . *gags*
