Yes CB!
Everything here in Flint is closed.
Even all the GM plants are closed,and that don't happen very often.This is the first time I've had a snow day since 1979.

Have they issued a "State of EMERGENCY" there in E-L.If they have,then it's against the law to be out driving.

The only vehicles allowed on the road now are emergency and snowplow vehicles.

Just to be on the safe side,I would call up the school just to make sure.

I heard on the news that East-Lansing recieved 14" of snow too.

Hey fellow Michigander....

How much snow did you get dumped on you?? Me, about 12". (That's snow, not....). I was suppossed to start a major custody trial today. Just found out that all the Courts are closed.

Well, I will likely call Dr. blue, who has a 4 WD car, and invite her over for a relaxing day in front of the fireplace. And you??

We got 14" here at my house.I started the other tread,and went to reply to CBs post,and hit the wrong link.

So I quess I sit here for a while,and then go out and shovel a little snow.

It's quit snowing here now,and there is a BIG full moon shining out right now.

I also had 2 back surgeries and a major blast of wisdom. Money ain't everything, but it sure helps pay for stuff.

Don't overexert yourself out there, Mort. Even "young" guys like you can get hrt if they don't shovel smart.

Last night on the news, they showed how to shovel snow correctly. You are suppossed to only move very small amounts of snow at a time and use very measured movements. Folowig that logic, IF I tried to shovel my drive, it would be next June before I could get my car out.
