I'm heading out the door tomorrow afternoon to a private camp with cabins about a 30 minutes country drive from home.

A weekend of no cooking, no kids, no husband, just being lazy sitting around in cabins in the country with about 20 female friends relaxing.... damn I am happy

I need a weekend away without working and total change of scenery.... I've been working so many damn long hours the last 4 months I need some time out.

I will have to stock up on chocolate and cheesecake as snacks...

This camp site is amazing at night... for some reason the stars always look spectacular..... last year they thought I was potty laying in the middle of a paddock at 11pm just looking up at them... but it's so peaceful and wholesome...

Hope your weather is great for it. I did this last weekend and it rained all weekend, and was very cold = at least for Texas it was! I swear I saw a few snowflakes even!

Still I had fun with my 60 closest friends (it was an annual Girl Scout Adult retreat!) - mostly women (maybe 5 men there in total).

It's very refreshing and relaxing to get away without hubby and kids and worries for a while. Enjoy your time!
