Yes, there is a clique here at lit and near as I can tell it consists of EVERYONE but:

So here's the deal I'm proposing. I suggest the rest of us take our tiny little clique and stop bothering the board at large which, just to be clear, seems to consists of BlkPnthr, *bratcat*, Estevie and Cherry. It was wrong of us to impose ourselves on them.

Near as I can tell, from reading that thread - he needs to update that list to include at least a dozen more people that requested they get added. Apparently - apology NOT accepted.

I'd think its quite safe to say there's a couple hundred more he can add to that list but those people have mostly been smart enough to not even waste their time with this nonsense.

Time I got smart too. For those of you who enjoy taking shots at the asshole - have fun. I might even look in every now and then when I'm in the mood. I've never put anyone on ignore, I'm not about to start now. In the past I've chosen to use my brain and my willpower to ignore those that are not worth my time and effort. I'm not sure where I lost that self control, but I plan on gaining it back.

BlckPnthr is beneath contempt. His attitude, his stupidity, his rudeness are more than evident. He has been given more than a couple of chances to apologize, to make amends or even to accept the olive branch yet he continues to prove himself, over and over, to be no better than a troll. He is nothing but a shit-stirrer and is thriving on all the attention he is getting. I've been online long enough to know never to say never, however it is my best intention, from now on, to not have any further interaction with him.

As I said, he is beneath contempt. Anyone who cannot see this for themselves is either completely dense or just as much of a shit stirrer as he is. Or, perhaps, to be kind - has not really looked at his spiteful record since coming to Literotica. My feeling is that anyone who chooses to defend this asshole, to be his friend, is also not someone I care to have any involvement with.

*bratcat*, Estevie and Cherry - we've never had any problems in the past. We've been on quite good terms, for the most part. I'm amazed that you can't see this jerk for what he is.

You know, I've been posting here for a few months now- and I've found this board to be very friendly , everyone that I've been exposed to has been very helpful. I feel I've gotten to "know" the regular posters by reading their posts, and know who I should take with a grain of salt.

Yes, I would agree that there are groups of people here who know each other better (the long time veterans of Lit) and are closer to each other, but the old-timers (lol- for use of a better word) don't shut anyone out, it's only natural that you are pulled to people you know. I wouldn't call it a clique, per se (sp), as the definition of "clique", as written by the Merriam-Webster dictionary is "a small EXCLUSIVE group of people".

I have been welcomed here, and have seen other newbies welcomed here, some even after an initial faux pas. I've found that if you conduct yourself appropriately and don't unneccesarily flame someone- personal attacks are inappropriate, you're all set. Disagreeing w/ someone is different. We all have our own opinions, we are not going to think the same.

Dillinger, I agree with your thread (I don't remember the name of it, and am too inexperienced to figure out how to post the part of it that I want to...I imagine that I would have to cut & paste?) but anyway...

I think that tolerance & respect go a long way. But that's only my two cents.

Having been the object of one of these worms' contempt, I concur the only way to get rid of them is to ignore them, their insults, and their attacks. I believe I've made my point as none of the people that I have been fighting with has been able to refute what I've been saying with any validity. So, consider it dropped.
