I have spent more time on this board (or for that matter online) this past weekend than I have in the past six weeks combined. I have no idea who threw the first insult, and really don't care. People that I have interacted for with for years, had their character's assaulted, and I was not about to set back and allow that to go unnoticed. And I will not in the future, either.

BP if you want to remain here peaceably, you have some serious repairs to make. It will be a long time before you live this down (assuming that you want to).

Alternatively, you might consider reregistering and starting with a fresh slate. If you had come amoungst us in a freindly, or at least nonantiginistic manner, you would have found these same people that you have so royally pissed off very welcoming.

Finally, you could just leave. I think that is what you will end up doing any way. It is the fate of most "flash in the pans" like your self. Bless your heart.

While I appreciate and respect your polite suggestion, I am going to respectfully decline the option of leaving. I too stand firm in what I believe and as was agreed prior, everyone else is as guilty as I am. So, if I am going to "ride it out" then so be it.

Cliques are bad, cliques are evil. In my opinion, keeping in mind I have'nt been here long, is that Literotica is an Inclusive Community and not an Exclusive Community.

Most people have been very kind to me so far, and no one has been nasty or mean. I have'nt given anyone reason yet

I'm disapponted most of my threads go unnoticed and are likely ignored because the name: Zamdrist is not recognized by anyone. I hope to change that.

My help to members have gone unnoticed, or unrecognized, my SRP thread died a quick and horrible death, my poem has gone neraly unnoticed by the poetry 'clique'.

But...I know that it takes time for people to get to know me, and come to find me familiar. I'll be here awhile I think, whether anyone likes it or not.

I even scroll back a couple of pages, looking for poor saps whose threads have gone unnoticed and try to say something productive or meaningful.

Well I have nothing to add in the BlkPnthr vs. Everybody part of this thread...just wanted to say that I think it's very immature to only be friends with ppl that have the friends you want them to have. Why can't someone be friends with BlkPnthr and with you??? Doesn't mean they are choosing between the two of you...hell they don't even have to get into the fight or whatever it is with ya'll...but to say you won't be friends with someone just cause they also are friends with someone you don't like is childish.

Who knows? Who cares? If you have any self-respect at all, if you have any feelings of warmth and even a smidgeon of caring for your Lit friends, then you'll walk away for a short time. Dill, i admire and respect the restraint and maturity you showed us all in your apology. You didn't apologize for what you said; you know that things said cannot be unsaid. You apologized for the hurt your words may have caused along the way; it's not in your nature, usually, to hurt other people.

I know that.
Most of us know that.
If you weren't doing battle in your reagular life with some very scary and sobering issues, i doubt any of this would have gotten to you so badly. It's a testament to your strength of character, i think, that you reacted with as much restraint as you've shown.

You're a marvelous person, Dill. This whole incident has made me think more highly of you. Your heartfelt apology, an apology that's untainted with further infusions of malic, is not only in decidedly good taste but quite powerfully positive, as well.

You've done well in this, and it's especially well done to know that, now, you need to end your involvement in it, should it keep going. We all lose it at times here; you know that. Hopefully, though, we learn valuable lessons from such down periods and go on stronger for the time spent howling into the winds of ill-fortune.
