Secernate this, Burl. I am only Perdita here. I do not coalesce, combine, commingle or conflate personae. CV4 has piqued me (not Perdita) but not to any super stratum of disheartened stasis. Gauche is cognizant he is too oft' a twat and that our (not Perdita's) friendship exculpates him (though he's come nigh to hazarding its troth).

I've seen all counterfeit identities cause degrees of mayhem here. When one speaks up or animadverts from the heart (e.g., McKenna) we get the same old begging off and apologiae; they have become quite shopworn, hackneyed, trite.

I trust less and less here. I choose to ignore known shams. And what with the trolls and pols I predict my near demise on Lit.

Edited to add: I just have to add this because people seem to feel very strongly on this subject...from what i have seen here on lit, the short time ive been here is that alternate ID's never last long before a mistake is made and that person is outed. now we know who carson is...we know who cowgirl and wholemanz really are...did it really harm anyone? honestly, i don't believe so.
we all stereotype one another. you can't help it. it's innate in all of us. for example, if i wanted to be taken seriously, i believe i would have to change my persona/id. i just dont have the energy it takes to do that. i saw nothing malicious in any of these personas...my opinion and im sticking to it.
