Informing the people of Erotiki Ormi had fallen to Morpheus. The god represented the essence of fantasy, of everything that was lacking on this island. This he transmuted into a gentle dream.

Drifting through the dream world, he arrived at the place where Erotiki Ormi’s dreamscape was. Raising his hands, he cast a silver mist upon the island, and as it floated, touching the dreams of the adult population, calming their minds as the message softly spoke to the people

Know this, the people of Erotiki Ormi...
Today, a great contest begins. The prize will be your island. Let
it be given to the Olympian who is deemed most worthy, by virtue
of the gifts they bestow. Your island will be visited by the deities
of Olympus. The gifts they bring will be judged by all who receive
them. Know that what I have proclaimed is the will of the gods.

Stirring to wakefulness all who received it, the god smiled softly as the minds of the people woke with wonder and they waited with anticipation of the event.

And so began the myth of Erotiki Ormi

Hades and Persephone

The battle had begun and Hades lord of the underworld and his wife fair Persephone decide to enjoy a little mortal fun as dead people are no fun.

They drifted onto the island a striking pair as they peruse the mortal fair. They had no cheer and all held some fear as the contest had begun. She smiled and they choose the first with whom they would play.

Aries

At a steady even march, I advanced from the high ground as the sun rose at my back. Straight on, crossing fertile fields, crushing olives, grapes, and dates, beneath my sandaled heel.

Flocks flying at my aproaching tread, rattled in thier instinctual dread. The first small outlying cottage, drawing nearer and closer. Perfect structure, held hostage by the earth to my mercy as I aproach.

Wild dark locks drifting about my armored shoulders in the morning breeze, my dark cast skin glistening in the dawn streaking rays.

A satisfactory smile filling my lips as the gate around the field creaks and crashes at a shove. The leather stips of armor skirting about my naked thighs swaying with the march. Tiny door, last barrier to the womb of the small house, wiating timidly for the demanding thump of my spear, to wake the occupants into surrender to my irresitable force of invasion.

I rustled in my sleep, restfulness not finding me tonight. Harvest season was near and work would be plenty. As I drifted through the night, a vision came to me. It was a messenger from the Gods. He stood before me announcing a contest of some sort. I listened closely as he read from his scroll.

I woke; startled by my vision, unsure whether it could be true, had the Gods chosen me to pass their word? Were they truly to come and honor us with their presence? Excitement filled me; we were but a tiny island, why would the Gods compete for our tiny insignificant bit of land. Fully awakened now I hurried from my small but comfortable home and gazed into the morning sky, looking for a sign of confirmation, but finding nothing out of the ordinary.

Arissa

Arissa awoke from a strange dream to find her husband gone from her side on their bed, in the middle of the night. Arissa stiands up, her modest nightgown doing little to cover her Voluptuous breasts, her black raven hair was lose, reaching way down her back to her waist.

She takes the first step away from her bed and she remembers... thoise words spoken in her dream... Gods... Gifts... a contest? Was this truly a message from the gods, she thought it unlikely, why would the Gods suddenly care for this island?

Arissa walks towards the front door of the small house which is now open...

Drifting into Reality, the Lord of Dreams slowly glided over the seas, towards the island of Erotiki Ormi.

Hidden in black cloth, with a hood over his face, the god looked a sinister figure as his feet brushed against the earth of the island.

"Ah... such a pretty little island."

Closing his eyes for a moment, his pale figure shimmered and then changed, becoming tall and bronzed, almost a mirror of Adonis.

Almost. His face was still lean, and while beautiful, seemed otherworldly, and looking at his eyes would tell any mortal or god who and what he was. His eyes, unlike the eyes of mortals were entirely black, no iris, or anything, and they were filled with stars.

Smiling softly, Morpheus stretched and headed towards the town.

As the night deepened, the light turning to a deep purple, Celia listened intently. Slowly, her mother's breathing deepened and became regular. Moving as carefully and quietly as she could, she slipped out of the room, and out of their home. Unerringly, her feet found the path down to the beach. Even in the dark, she had traveled this path so often that she knew each bend, each stone, as if it were a part of her very being. The breeze began to rake its soft fingers through her long hair, swirling it down her back, caressingly. Focused as she was upon her destination, she barely noticed, as she moved with an unconscious grace to the cove.

Looking up to the sky, she sighed at the beauty of the night sky, wishing that there could be more to life than the drudgery of caring for her mother, and their small garden which produced just enough to feed them, and to take to market to trade for what they could not either make for themselves or do without. Reaching her destination, she lowered herself onto the sand and stared out at the beach, wondering if this was all that life had to offer her. These rare nighttime escapes were the only taste of freedom she allowed herself. She knew that if her mother were to find out about her nighttime retreats to the beach, they would come to an end, so she was always very careful to return before her mother might awaken. Tonight, though, there was just something that kept her where she was, as if under some sort of enchantment....

hades and persephone

He held her tight as they overlooked the village. It was such a peaceful view and they wondered whether they would lead by example or pull a mortal into their lovemaking. Persephone smiled as her husband held her tight kissing the soft flesh of her neck before they moved down into the village. Passing by looking for the right couple or person to share. They ended up in a small garden and they danced together, clothing slowly drifting away. Hades let his thin fingers dance over her ripe flesh, commenting on how her breasts were like pomegranites before leaning over to partake in their bounty.

After looking about a bit, and seeing nothing, I turn and retrace my steps. Just as I'm about to enter my home, I'm startled by Arissa, my wife, as she appears in the doorway. Unaware of what she may doing, up and awake at this early hour, but too excited and confused to give it second thought, I immediatly begin to tell her of my vision.

"Arissa!", I exclaim, speaking quickly and nervously, "I've had a vision from the Gods! They visited me in my sleep, and told me they plan a visit to our island. Some contest is to take place. I was told they're to bring gifts."

I held her by the shoulders, unsure if she'd believe what I had to say, or if she'd think I'd gone mad.

Arissa

Arissa stares at her excited husband, " I had the same dream too, the voice that spoke of the visit from the Gods and the contest and gifts they would bring to the island... ".

Arissa looks out into the quiet night and backa t her husn¿band " But what might all this mean, the Gods have never taken interest in this island? and if they do come things will surely change, I have to admit Im a little scared to think about that... ".

We were staring at each other, a look of disbelief in both our eyes.

" I had the same dream too, the voice that spoke of the visit from the Gods and the contest and gifts they would bring to the island..."

"What?, you had the dream too, you say?" I felt a mix of relief that I wasn't overreacting to my dream, and amazement that this vision was indeed true.

"But what might all this mean, the Gods have never taken interest in this island? and if they do come things will surely change, I have to admit Im a little scared to think about that... ".

"I do not know what awaits us, Arissa. The Gods will decide that I am sure. I know not if I should feel fear, of hapiness. We will have to wait and see."

I turned again, looking into the sky, then back at my wife.

"I suppose all we can do is continue on with our meager lives, and accept our fate, if and when the Gods make their appearance."

"We are good and hard working people, surely they will not destroy us. Let us hope that good things will come of it."

hades and persephone

We disentangled just long enough to move on seeing the people rising to go about their work......we would change their world.
