YAY.... more trimming of the bill of rights.

Sounds pretty fair to me, actually.

You fight against 'your' state outside the legal parameters, in collaboration with another governmet, then you're an outlaw/traitor/turncoat/whatever.

Its just a case of trying to make sure there are no loopholes or easily exploited clauses

Why bother to take away citizenship, just fry/drug them and be done with them.

I agree, Under the OLD, ORIGINAL CONSTITUTION, we would have simply rounded up the brigands and hung them...

I just think it should be easier to convict for treason. not easier to strip citizen ship

It worries me to set a precedent of stripping citizenship for crimes. Once it exists as a punishment, it can be applied to other crimes. Hard to see that happening now, but wait 20 yrs. until the population has grown and resources have shrunk. Might get to be a more common penalty. Might as well just introduce exile.

Typical asshole politician response...lets just make up laws everytime something happens...sounds like Clinton to me...

There is precedant for it.

Many top people in the confederate gov't during the civil war were stripped of their citizenship.
