Yahoo Briefcase

I'm going to ask a dumb question, I'm sure.

Does anybody know what the fuck is wrong with the Yahoo Briefcase service? Is it discontinued? Or just seriously flawed? I've been trying for several weeks to set one up, but it always tells me that it is temporarily unavailable. I suppose in the grand scheme of things, 3 weeks is temporary, but I think it's way too long.

Is there anyplace on yahoo to find this out?
