Have you seen the 5.0 upgrade?? It's freakin awesome! It's got this new thing called "IMVironments". Man! Can chatting get any more fun?

I agree, the new one is interesting. The camera support also seems better, But...

Is it gonna be psychotic in chat? The one just b4 this one was a bastard. I would get voice errors on a regular basis, frustrating.

I think they also allowed for somewhat larger file sharing. The only area where MSN is superior is/was file swapping size.

I wish they would throw us some skins to use though.

New Y Messenger

After I downloaded new YM version, I started getting a lot of errors. When sending and receiving webcam images, it will totally freeze up and either dump my connection or shut down my system entirely.

I agree, it has lots of cool new features, but this is getting really irritating.

And yes, it does need skins, AND more IMvironments.

Is anybody else having problems with the new version??

Yes, Yes , Yes!!!! Lots of errors, but I too love the new look! Main problem is lost messages.

Hopefully, they will get the bugs worked out and continue to add some more skins.

Beats the hell out of me, I think there is a secret file comprised of my missing messages. God is going to use it against me when I show up and try to get into heaven.

Yes I loaded the new Y messenger , and actually disinstalled it and went back to my 996 mesenger which i kept on file ....loads of lost messages on the new one .....and freezing ...which I know you have said about ........
