X-Men: The Begginning (OOC / Interest)

Hey all,
The other day i was reading one my old X-men comics when i suddenly had a thread idea...
Do a thread about when the X-men were founded, or more importantly, when the original five were about 18 years old, and new blood comes in.
3 points though...
a) This will not be canon based.
b) This is not Ultimate X-men
c) this is not x-men evolution.

I was thinking that the x-men face different villians and not always the brotherhood. I was thinking Juggernaught as the first baddie.

Anyway, it will be a thread for non-original characters, (theres a list below), but you get instead the ability to play around with the character while keeping them true to themselves. (for example Beast may not be the science type yet, he could still be the jock, while Jean grey could be going out with someone other than scott, ect ect.)

Anyway, heres my basic storyline... After two successful years of training Jean, Scott, Robert, Warren and Hank, Proffessor Charles Xavier, decides to bring in some fresh faces to train, along with the help of his best friend and ex wife, Moira MacTaggart. (if it turns out that some characters aren't played...mainly the original 5, I will simply use a plausible excuse for that person not being in the thread.)

Please note that the suggestions in Bracketts are suggestions only, and based on how i want it. Ideally though, i'd prefer all of them to be aged between 18 and 21.

I'm always up for a good X-Men thread, but it seems that every one I get into stalls and dies before anything ever happens.

I'll play Psylocke if no one else has signed up for her yet. A variant of her, English born (half Japanese from her mom's side) but in the US studying (random college topic). Has telepathic abilities and is developing telekinetic ones but they're not quite fine-tuned yet.

I can write up a full concept bio if you'd like.

X-men threads are fun.

If I read correctly here there is enough place left. But the guy who started this thread seems to not be here anymore. Oh well, at least I'll check in regularly to see if we are going to start anything or not
