... places her hand again on Cyclops' arm. "I know you're mad... mad as hell... and every right to be... but perhaps the Professor will have some idea as to what Magneto is up to... I don't like the idea of just barging into his camp and trying to rescue Silk. Especially as she seemed to go so willingly."

The sound of the Professor's voice could be heard by all of them. "Confrence in my office... A.S.A.P.!"

Jean lead the way to Professor Xavier's office. He sat calmly behind his desk and nodded to each in turn as they entered. "I know the situation... it is unfortunate that we let down one of our own. Flashfire was and aparantly still is a powerful mutant. However, he is now especially dangerous because of this insane belief of his that we left him to die. I would even go as far to say that he is borderline phsychotic." He sighed. "Unfortunately... we need Silk back at all costs... I'm almost positive Magneto will test her allegiance to him... we should see some sort of chaos happen within the next 48 hours. I want all of you to take turns watching the computer monitoring systems. All of you need to be ready to react at a moments notice. That's all for now... I will inform you immediately should I sense anything more..."

looked around what she assumed would be her new home now. "All Magneto's kids?" She asked curiously. "How many are there?" she asked Flashfire.

"Somewhere in the 100's," I told her. "Your quite beautiful, I cant believe you were treated so badly there,"I said solemnly. "you will be treated really well here,everyone respects everyone,"I said.I placed my hand under her chin and looked into her eyes,beautiful eyes,"Come lets get you settled,"I said...

Okay, I will be Henry McCoy, aka: Beast
For those of you unfamiliar with the character:
Beast was a founding member of the X-Men, with prodigious strength, great agility and reflexes, and a keen scientific mind. His large feet and hands, and his somewhat simian stature, made him noticeable from an early age, but he was still able to lead a normal life, until being recruited into Professor Xavier's school. Since then, he has served as a member of the Avengers, the Defenders, and X-Factor.
Due to an experiment gone awry while he worked for the Brand Corporation, his mutation has increased, giving him blue fur all over his body, as well as a more 'beast'-like appearance. As kind and gentle as he is intelligent and strong, he serves as a friend and counselor to many of the X-Men. Any technological problem that arises will generally arouse his intense interest.

Whew! Onto the show:

Beast meets the others coming out of the meeting with Professor X. "Greetings and salutations dear friends! Everyone's favorite bouncing blue Beast is back! The current wave of anti-mutant hysteria has made my presence with the Avengers more of a liability than a boon, so I thought I would see how my brothers and sisters were doing. What did I miss?"
He throws a long, furry arm around both Jean and Scott, walking with them down the hallway.

Cyclops:

I moved beasts arm off my shoulder."You missed a hell of a lot, henry," i told him. "Do you remember flashfire,we though he was dead,well he isnt and works for magneto,Ok" I said to him...

Jean...

turns to hug Beast tight. "So good to see you Henry! It's been mad around here lately... one of our best students has been taken by Magneto... and Cyclops speaks the truth... it appears Flashfire is alive after all this time." She shakes her head sadly.

"OH... but how have you been? I've missed you..." she smiles in welcome.

Silk...

blushed at Flashfire's words. She looked down shyly. "Hundred's huh? Wow... I had no idea there were so many..." suddenly nervous. She knew he said they would accept her, but she just wasn't so sure.

"What do you all do?"

Flashfire:

"We have a training area in the back,to keep our powers strong,we have classrooms for learning, And other things like a library and dormitories," I said. "There is a war brewing between humans and mutants and we train here to be ready," I said.I smiled."If you ever have a problem fitting in here come see me or magneto,we will always help,"I said. I lightly kissed her cheek and said "Come on lets get you to your room,". I put my arm around her shoulder and walked her to her room...

 

[Neale]

Beast does a flip, and starts to walk on his hands backwards down the hall, as he talks to Jean and Scott.
"That is grave news of Flashfire. Still, while there is life, there is hope. Perhaps he will abandon Magneto's twisted perspective on mutant-human relations. As for myself, Jean... ah, busy indeed. The modifications that Charles asked me to consider for Cerebro have taken up much of my spare time. Also, accompanying the Avengers to the Kree homeworld was utterly fascinating. Why is it that not one superhero has ever remembered to carry a camera when visiting strange new worlds?"

Beast

Beast freezes in place for a moment, stunned at Jubilee's words. "Something has happened to Silk, as well?" he growls, dangerous fire in his eyes, causing both Jean and Jubilee to step back a bit, and Scott to tense briefly. They knew he was fond of the brilliant young mutant, who reminded him of himself in his earlier days. His friends explain to him all of what has happened.
"Ordinarily, I am the utter soul of caution and reasonablity. However, this definitely is not a time for that. Scott, you are our leader in times of battle, and this certainly is such a time! What will we do?"

ummm...one last thing...I FORGOT ICEMAN'S REAL NAME!!!


IC: Beast came back, and well...he was Beast. Jubilee, was always giddy like that, and i just laughed a bit. I made some little army men out of ice and was playen with them.

"Yeah she sided with flashfire,' i told him. "We have to spread out around town and try to locate them,"I said. "Ok Beast, You take Jubilee,Ill go with Jean,Iceman if you can find Gambit you two go, And report to me or the professor if you find any information," i told them...

Beast

Beast reaches out with his long, furry, blue arms to Iceman, and taps him on the shoulder as he clears his throat, "Robert Drake, you be careful out there. Flashfire is an especial hazard to you, after all. Keep your distance, as we would all be quite distressed to have to clean up the Incredible Puddleman."

Turning to Jubilee, he picks her up in his strong arms, and they bounce down the hall, off the walls, across the ceiling, etc.
"Miss Jubilation, how have you been?" His serious demeanor seems to have vanished. "I suppose you want to check the areas nearest the Westminster Mall first?"

IC: I nodded to Beast, he was right, we would both be a hazard to each other, it just depended on who shot who first...

I slowly walked down the hall, I thought about it...No i wouldn't let him get out the first punch...I would do what it took...he was going down.

Beast

Beast continued bouncing down the corridor, and down to where the vehicles are kept. "Jubilee, you're being particularly reticent. Is anything bothering you that you're having a difficult time talking about? Don't worry about Silk; we will find her, and all the other misguided young mutants, and rescue them from Magnus' mad scheme."

They head towards the Westminster Mall and Galleria, keeping their eyes wide open.

Jean...

followed Cyclops pondering Beast's timely arrival and his reaction to hearing about Silk's disappearance. She felt responsible somehow... clearly the girl had felt the need to leave... surely that could only mean she wasn't getting what she needed from them.

"Scott... where do we start?"

Silk...

looked around her new room. She sighed softly to herself. So many people here... she hadn't realised how large Magneto's following had become. Her instinctive fear of people and crowds in general kicked in. She was suppossed to meet Billy later... for lunch he said. She looked at herself in the mirror and sighed dispiritedly.

Her long silky hair quivered about her... reflecting her internal discomfort. Before her stood an image of a slender asian woman with long hair, she didn't like looking at herself much. Quickly turning away from the reflection she glanced at the bookshelf near her bed. She pulled out a volume and smiled briefly. Whoever had stocked her bookshelf certainly knew a lot about her. She soon became absorbed in the chapter about advanced physics.

She looked up from her book and frowned. She felt something. She opened her window and looked out... her hair lifting and reaching out as if tasting the air. Without thinking she crawled out the window and down onto the lawn. Behind her the curtains billowed as air filled the now empty room.

"Well, Jubilee, from what I understand, Magneto has gathered a great number of young mutants. Mutants they are, but they are also young men and women. Therefore, it seems entirely possible that they feel a need to socialize. You are a teenager yourself, where would you go to socialize? Yes, the mall. The favourite gathening place for all juveniles, mutant or not. It seems likely to me that we may well find someone there who either is, or knows someone who is, involved with Magneto's group. You will have an important part to play in this, Jubilee. You are obviously far better suited than I to gather information surreptitiously. My hirsute appearance can scarcely be disguised, and my affiliations with the Avengers is well known. If there are young mutants there, they may feel safer revealing themselves as such to you."
Beast gives Jubilee a friendly grin, and tousles her hair.
"Besides, I scarcely think you need an excuse to go to the mall?"

Silk...

found herself in the crowded mall almost by accident. She looked around as if surprised by her new surroundings. Everyone seemed so happy here. She glanced around at the bright displays showing off the wares of each store. Despite the crowds... she felt almost comfortable here. No one expected anything of you in a place like this. She slowly allowed herself to get lost amongst the latest fashions and accessories. Wondering if any of them could actually make her more attractive... she suddenly wanted so much to be attractive... for Billy to like her.

Shyly she made her way to the make-up department. Looking uncertainly at the array of colours before her.

What was she doing at the mall alone,I dont them to try to take her from me.I saw her near the make-up shop.Gosh she was so beautiful,I think in in love with her.But she is so shy,so locked in her own world,scared to let anyone else in.I hope I would change her mind.Just then I felt strong mutant energy."Henry," I muttered...

I walk nto the Mall, and look for anyone who looks like the two Mutants i had seen in the mansion. " After searching the entire mall... nothing!" I muttered as i walked to the last department store, where i hung out for a while looking at everything, when I saw Silk at a makeup counter. " Oh My Gosh! I have to get Beast!" I ran from the department sneakily, so that She wouldn't see me.
