"Billy? What are you doing here?" She blushed hotly, suddenly embarrassed as she recalled her thoughts of him. She looked around but didn't see anyone. "I think you're being a little paranoid... there's no one around here who would recognise me..." She quickly put back the lipstick she had been looking at, suddenly uncomfortable around him.

Everything had happened so fast, she was beginning to wonder if she'd made the right decision after all.

/ooc Beast: Just waiting for Jubilee to come get me. If you want to beat her to the punch, and come find Beast on your own, Flashfire, bring it on!

became alert suddenly. She sensed someone... someone she'd almost forgotten. "Can't be..." she murmered... "Beast?"

They rounded a corner and Flashfire pointed them out to her. Jubilee and Beast. Looked as if Jubilee had just gotten to him herself.

"Beast!" Silk exclaimed without thinking.

 

[Neale]

Beast

Beast activates his communication device, "Everyone! We've found our wayward young lady, Silk, and Flashfire, as well! Proceed to the Westminster Mall, with all due haste! I shall attempt to talk to them, whilst awaiting your imminent arrival!"

"Jubilee, abide here a moment. I wish to converse with our young friends here."

Beast slowly walks toward the pair of young mutants. "Silk, Flashfire, what an amazing happenstance to have reunited us at this time! I understand that each of you has some greivance with Professor Xavier, and our erstwhile band of merry mutants? If you would be so kind, please discuss them with me. I feel certain that we can resolve our differences without resorting to the usual mayhem."

"BOO!" I screamed as I flashed into existence behind them all. I collapsed to the floor laughing as thye jumped three feet into the air, long blond hair falling around me. "You guys are so easy to mess with," I giggled.

"You called?" I looked innocently at Beast with a sweet smile.

(for anyone who doesn't know elementa is an x-man with incredible elemental powers. like storm's only over anything natural. can suck the life right out of people. only when she wishes to, though. and she casts cool spells with all the elemtnal engery she collects. nice figure and blue-green eyes and long blond hair.)

Beast did a double somersault over the nearest vehicles, "Oh, my stars and garters! Elementa, I had no idea you were around at all. I was just going to have a chat with yon wayward mutants, Silk and Flashfire. If you could just hold back a few moments, perhaps I can talk them out of doing anything foolish."

Beast taps his comm device, "Bobby, we're in the parking lot at the far western end of the mall. Please exercise discretion in your approach, as Elementa has just arrived, and our young friends are likely nervous enough as it is."

Beast gives a broad smile, and approaches his young protege and Flashfire slowly. "So, can we discuss this like rational people?"

Quiet my ass...I walked back outside the building, morphing back to ice i flew over the building and stood on the edge watching beast approach the new babe to the x-men. Maybe i could woo her back if old Beast couldn't get her back by his quick wit and talking. It turned me back, and i didn't want to come back at first.

It was so easy to sense the newer harmless psyche in the air that I had to hold back a smile. I nodded to Beast and backed off, grinning and talkiing to myself, muttering about bein' so young had people thinkin' I was a newbie to the X-Men business.

I floated higher into the air and looked around; I knew I'd felt someone somewhere...

Beast waves his hand in front of the strangely quiet pair of mutants.

"Are you both alright? Can we discuss this like rational beings? Please do not be afraid of my companions; we are all worried about you both."

OOClease tell me this thread isn't coughing up its last gasps! I'm not ready to give up being Hank (Beast) McCoy just yet! Pretty please with furry blue sugar on top?

was frightened. She had been happy to see Beast... but then... all the others were coming. She looked back at Flashfire.

Could she trust him even?

She started to edge away from them.

All these people were starting to freak her out. She had to go... get out of here.

"Silk, please don't run. You know I would never harm you, nor would I ever allow you to come to harm. If you feel the need to leave now, I will try to understand. Still, you know how to contact me. If you would talk to me, alone, I will come to you. I am, and always will be, your friend.

Just trust in yourself. You are a fine and wonderful young lady, who should believe in herself much more than she does. Don't let anyone ever convince you otherwise, nor let them convince you to do anything you know in your heart to be wrong.

his words seemed honest... yet... she was so confused.

Her hair began to move about her in her agitation. He was talking to Billy now. Billy...

She felt... what? Love? She wasn't sure... wasn't sure who to trust anymore.

Beast stepped forward and without thinking she reacted. Her hair lengthening and whipping out lashing at Beast's arms.

"Don't TOUCH him!" She screamed angrily. The emotions hot and untamed within her. All the years of pushing them aside... of concentrating on study... now the emotions bubbled up unstoppable... intense.

(Hmm... If anything, her hair has gotten stronger since last I saw her. Still no threat, really, but I don't want to hurt the lass.) "Okay, Silk. It's alright. I won't move a muscle. I just want to talk. By the way, your tresses smell quite lovely today! New shampoo?" He grins at her, with his most winning smile. Granted, it was full of fangs, but Silk knew him well enough to know his smile was fully sincere.

I looked down, and hit my com, beast had his reciver in his ear, so he could just hear it, "beast, i'm gonna freeze her hair in a min, tell me not to if you want, but i'm gonna freeze her hair, then shoot strait down on Flash, but don't worry, i'm prepared, i have some dumbies for him to fire at before he finds me" i said, i looked around, "just give me some sort of guestiure or somethen here beast, and i won't..." i looked back down at them waiting..."or just show me to go..."

(How could someone so frigid in powers be so fiery in temper?) thinks Beast to himself. He slowly shakes his head, giving the impression he is looking from left to right, and back, scanning the area.

noted Beasts smile. It reminded her of the times he had made her smile when she first arrived at Xavier's school.

She almost smiled back. She could hear Beasts com... it was muffled... but she glanced over at Ice Man and scowled.

She was feeling confused and she didn't like all the attention.

Her hair moved about her slowly... medusa-like. She watched and waited...

Okay, I suspect that it is time to take a look at who is left posting to this thread. Anyone? I know Beast still has a spirit, as does Silk. A new spirit seems to want to join. Can we revive this one, or is it doomed to oblivion?

At this point, I just don't know who is what, or is still interested anymore. I still don't have time to devote to starting and working a thread as I would wish, but would someone, anyone, please either help resurrect this one or start a new X-Men thread? The Bouncing Blue Beast is really ready to play!
