i like asstr. i just wish they included a short little synopsis(sp?) with the stories like they do here. and the kiddy stuff does freak me out on occasion.

are sites like kristen's archive also down? i can't check now. my neice is awake and nosy as usual.

Istn gw trying to get a constitutional amendment against gay marriages right now....
Which in it self is in violation of the constitution as well as a whole bunch of equal rights laws... etc.
Hell it can be argued that such an amendment would be in violation of the separation of church and state as well...


But thats an other issue... Im just saying that when nazies are in office anything is possible... regardless of its plausability...

My original point of it was mainly that if a site contains questionable material accessing it might get one red flagged...
kind of like getting the wrong batch of books from the library or saying the wrong words on the phone.

Many have tried to amend the US Constitution for any number of things. Only 17 have been successful in 200 years, and they were primarily to expand rights/privileges ... with the possible exception of prohibition which was later repealed. The effort to pass a marriage amendment is already lacking the support it needs to get out of either House of the US Congress. I just see censoring yourself now just because of what "might" happen in the future is just being a bit paranoid.

Kristen's archive is a part of ASSTR. It should hopefully be back up by tomorrow with the rest of the site.

ASSTR is an archive nothing more. It's been around on the net longer than I have and likely to be for a long time. As with anything, if you don't like it, don't read it.

Kicking a dog in Kentucky is more illegal than reading stories on ASSTR is. 2-5 (felony) years on the second offence.

They were down the other day and seem to be down again. I assume they are having problems with their servers again.
