WWF Backlash

oops...got a little carried away...

EXACTLY........You should be carried away.
By 2 guys in trench coats, no doubt.

Predictions

Just to clarify something, if someone shows up from WCW to help Shane McMahon win, the fans will certainly know hwho they are. It's not like they'll send in a Shane Helms to do this, they'll send a Booker T in and he'll get a monsterous pop...that is, should they go ahead and do that.

WWF Tag Champs vs WWF Champ & IC Champ
Titles vs Titles
Kane/Taker vs SCSA/HHH

Winner: SCSA/HHH. No way will they take Austin's belt away and there's no need for HHH to lose his belt, so I see them going over only to lose it to someone, not exactly sure yet, on Monday.

Ultimate Submission Match
Most submissions in 30 minutes wins
Kurt Angle vs Chris Benoit

Winner: This one is tough. In this particular match, I see Angle winning by some illegal measures..possibly knocking Benoit out after a ref bump. Benoit will win the feud, but the feud will not end this Sunday.

Dutchess of Queensby Rules Match
William Regal vs Chris Jericho

Winner: As much as I love Regal, I see Jericho going over once more.

Last Man Standing Match
Big Show vs Shane McMahon

Winner: Shane. This little bastard is awesome. After Wrestlemania, I simply asked, "RVD who?" after that huge Van Terminator to VINCE MCMAHON no less. This should lead up to something that will end right around the time WCW opens back up.

European Championship Match
Christian vs Eddie Guerrero vs Matt Hardy

Winner: This is a test for Christian and Matt no doubt. Eddie's getting his belt back.

6-man Tag Match
Dudley Boyz vs X-Factor

Winner: X-Factor unfortunately. They're trying to get them over and who else is better to give the rub to them but the Duds? Spike will bump like madman for Albert.

Hardcore Title Match
Raven vs Rhyno

Winner: I see Raven getting the belt in a classic ECW brawl. Rhino is great in the WWF and they're letting Raven talk now, so...I see them feuding so that they play off each other and get over more.

About the X-factor vs Dudleyz....I can see X-factor getting the win as well despite the fact I absolutely hate X-Pac, well at least Credible's got some class.

I'm gunning for Jericho and Benoit...look for intereference on both sides in both of their matches.

Matt Hardy, Christian and Eddy Guerrero in a Triple threat match for the Euro title was booked today on Smackdown....any thoughts?

Here's the full card:

Three championships on the line!
Stone Cold & Triple H vs. Undertaker & Kane

Last Man Standing
Shane McMahon vs. Big Show

30-minute Ultimate Submission Match
Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit

Duchess of Queensberry Match
William Regal vs. Chris Jericho

European Championship
Matt Hardy vs. Christian vs. Eddie Guerrero

Hardcore Championship
Rhyno vs. Raven

Six-man tag
Bubba Ray, D-Von & Spike Dudley vs. X-Factor

Just finished watchin it and another pretty good show to talk about...the highlight was defintely Shane O Mac's 40 ft drop! AMAZING!

I loved the Benoit vs Angle match as well, all the reversals and holds......brilliant.

The main event was pretty predictable but I almost thought Kane and UT were gonna pull it off....wonder how they're gonna set things up now?

Here ya go then :)

Three championships on the line!
Stone Cold & Triple H vs. Undertaker & Kane

Stone Cold and HHH get the win after Vince gives HHH as sledgehammer while the ref was knocked cold and Stone and UT were slugging it out near the TV monitors.

Last Man Standing
Shane McMahon vs. Big Show

Excellent stuff! Shane chloroforms Big Shows before Vince come in and chairs his own son! Big Show punished Shane, repeatedly chokeslamming him and picking him up after an 8 count. Test comes in and distracts the Big Show to give Shane enough time to recover! The three move to the stage, Test pushed Big show off onto the wood, and Shane climbs on top of the Titantron for a 40ft legdrop and the win! OH MY GOD!

30-minute Ultimate Submission Match
Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit

A real technical battle, full of reversals. The match is tied 3-3 when Angle get the ankle lock with ten seconds left, but Benoit refuses to submit and it goes into sudden death! Benoit manages to lock in the crossface after holding out on the sleeper hold for the win!

Duchess of Queensberry Match
William Regal vs. Chris Jericho

The actual Duchess comes out....I reckon she's gonna become a character as Regal's crony....anyway, Y2J get a pin, but the Duchess disallows it saying the first round ended before the pin?!?! Then Regal uses the Duchess' stick thingy watever it is to take out Y2J and gets DQ, before the Duchess disallows it again saying no DQ! JEricho gets pissed and locks the Duchess in the walls before taking the chair from Regal and getting pinned for the L.

European Championship
Matt Hardy vs. Christian vs. Eddie Guerrero

Some high flying stuff, Edge interfered to help Christian but Jeff comes in and helps Matt roll up Guerrero for the win....note the absence of the Radicalz...maybe a break up imminent?

Hardcore Championship
Rhyno vs. Raven

An brutal affair that sees Rhyno go headfirst through the trolley and numerous chair and trashcan shots all round, before Rhyno spears Raven for the win.

Six-man tag
Bubba Ray, D-Von & Spike Dudley vs. X-Factor

X-Factor get the win but afterwards refuse to back off, eventually ending when X-Pac gets 3d through the table!

Oops...that was a bit long :)

I'm not surprised about the Triple H/Austin vs. UT/Kane match. Afterall, if UT and Kane won the match, who would have been the Intercontinental Champion and who would be the WWF World Champion?

Well whoever pinned who would get the belts right? UT was actually looking out for Kane since Stone Cold and E&C busted up Kane's arms last week...so if they had got the win if UT had pinned Austin he would have been WWF champ etc etc.....it looks like the federation is planning to keep Kane and UT together as the main opposition to Austin and HHH...at least until the Rock returns

Yeah, I see UT & Kane's storyline as the new heros while the Rock is on his movie promotion tour.

Did anyone else notice....

This is two Pay-Per-Views IN A ROW that The American Blueblood (Sound of me laughing, occasionally hearing "Gorgeuos George knock-off" as I gasp for air), oh, sorry, I mean "The Game" has gotten away with not shedding any juice? It used to be our standard of how good the PPV was by how much Hunter Hearst Helmlsey bled. Any man who'll bleed for Sports Entertainment gets quite a bit of respect from me. Without Foley around, though, he doesn't seem to bleed as much..

I guess it was mainly in contrast with WrestleMania, but I left this one thinking it was a little weak.

I guess I'm also tired of seeing the Walls used as a way to beat Jericho.

Shane-O-Mac! Shane-O-Mac! The Giant Killer is back! Looks like Paul Wight gets to keep his record of seeing ceiling against Shane, and Shane got to dive from the scenery again. This time didn't make me as sick as the time against Steve Blackman, though...

Well I think nearly any pay per view would pale in comparison after the show at Wrestlemania! I thought it was pretty solid, some good matches but nothing really spectacular apart from Shane O Mac(!!)

Walls being used to beat Jericho? Huh? Didn't see that...
