Meanwhile, the evidence mounts that Fauci and Company were illegally involved in something they shouldn't have been doing and is now using every possible method to cover their asses, including outright lies and media collusion.

I posted a screenshot of an email that is certainly a smoking gun. A redaction code and and explanation of that code. I don't think at this stage it represents an investigation of Fauci himself, but of Daszak's possible criminality. Of course Fauci did in fact lie under oath but this email and redaction code isn't about that.
