Well, well, well. The push back just keeps getting stronger. More and more scientists are speaking out the the lab release 'conspiracy' has merit. Go figure.
A group of Indian scientists have even published a paper claiming it was manufactured. Interesting read but as they have an axe to grind re. China I'll wait until more voices are heard.
Again, make no mistake there is a ton of money at stake here. The scientists that want to squash any investigation know that if it's found to be true that the "Wuhan Flu" came from that lab, or even worse was created there, funding is going to dry up. As for me, I hope it does. At least on the broader scale because what we're talking about here is bio-weapons. That's what 'gain of function' research is all about. To take a pathogen that is not endemic to humans and to modify it so that it is, is essentially, creating a bio-weapon. What it is is not in question, only how transmissible and virulent.
So I posit this question, "Is funding such research so that some scientists can write papers to impress their colleagues worth the risk?"
