My cousin and his family live in Naples near the beach. They were planning to ride it out but his wife got freaked out and they ended up driving to her father's house instead. Their house along with the rest of Naples is flooded. It sucks but they've got insurance to replace what gets destroyed.

Just north of bad area lots of high winds down trees not much rain going out to start cleaning up. Feel bad for people south of us. Thanks for checking on us down here

Just got an update from my cousin. His house was totalled along with the cars that he had to leave behind. Luckily, his businesses are fine. He just rented a house so they could be close by so they deal with this shit.

My folks opted to hunker down in Orlando, lots of rain and the power went out for six hours. No property damage although a next door neighbor's massive oak tree toppled. Not bad considering how strong the winds were.
