I can't seem to load msn.com, cnn.com, abc.com, and about 15 other personal sites. My husband and several friends are all having the same problem, all off diffferent connections, on different sites, and in different area's of the world.

The online game we run dropped, and everyone was saying it was lagged.

Is anyone else having this problem right now?

I have had some sites do that lately too.

A main fiberoptic line or regional server is going screwy.

Or someone is doing a general attack on the net.

-sighs- :(

Can't they just let me hit my sites, and attack OTHER sites?

Damn people, no curtesy, I tell ya.

One of Conectix's backbone router's has been acting up. It's in San Francisco, it should be ok, by the middle of next week.

edit: It's not haX0rs, btw. It's the machine either crapping out or it's acting wonky.

ok but there have been cases of hackers doing general attacks against regional net servers.

I'm gonna think that this is more the problem. It's a known problem causing lots of problems for folks.

Hackers claim their attacks for noteriety. This one's been silent. Let's not doom and gloom when a few files corrupt and they gotta reinstall unix and hack it back to work again.

I can't open Lit mail or the chat room....but that's nothing unusual.
