Writing and arousal

I find I am inspired to write when I am aroused and "hot & bothered". I go so far as to starve myself from sex and masturbation in weeks where I am trying to create. The extra tension and energy is a great motivator. But the moment that tension is gone (say, after a long scented bubblebath with a bit of fooling around thrown in! ) then my inspiration is gone too!

Writing and arousal works in different ways for everyone, of course. You seem to prefer channeling your sexual energy into a creative outlet. Others like to 'bask in the glow' and write while a recent tryst is on their mind. Still others look to memories as a source of inspiration and fantasy.

I figure I do all of the above, at different times. No one method works for me all the time.

Just like sex.
