Awhile back, someone posted a link to a website aimed at writers. It gave a daily topic for you to write on and had all sorts of useful links. Unfortunately that link was on my other computer which is now dead and gone.

Anyone know what I'm talking about? Does anyone have that website or something like it?

There are two contests here in LA that are interesting, and could be started up anywhere. One is a "24 Hour Play Contest", in which you gather at a club, you're given a selected Person, Place and Thing, and you have 24 hours to write, cast, rehearse, produce and perform a 10-15 minute play based on those suggestions. Everyone comes back the next day to watch. It's great.

The new version is a "48 Hour Movie Contest", which is the same thing, except you have two days to write, cast, rehearse, shoot and edit a digital film. Again, everyone comes back the next night to watch.

That was a good idea for a thread but it kind of petered out. Lack of interest I suppose. Maybe I'll bump it up just to see what happens.
