We ALL dream when we sleep. Recalling and interpteting our dreams can often prove to be an elusive task. As long as we are all busy writing things here, I thought that it might be fun to begin this dreams thread. If you can recall your most recent dreams, share them with us here. Be they long, short, silly or profound, share them if you please.

My last dream was the inspiration for this new thread.

I was lying in a large bed, completely nude with exactly seven nude women,
all of whom where beautiful, smart and sexy. There was no randy activity that I recall, but we were all quite comfortable in our nudity as we lie touching each other and conversing.

I was asked by one blonde woman, "What do you remember the most about your lovers?" My reply was that I retain the tastes and smells of my lovers in my mind, as these senses are quite strong for me. The natural smell of my lover's breath lingers in my own mouth and nose and becomes indelible to a certain extent.

We carried this conversation around the bed for some time before I was awakened. I loved that dream.

My dreams are always...I don't know.

The majority of the dreams I have, I will encounter people that I haven't seen in over 20 years. They weren't even friends, or people I even talked to. I just run into them in an ordinary could happen in real life situation. Usually they have some low paying job, and I am the customer at the store/gas station/restaurant they work at. Then I wake up thinking, "why the hell did that person come to mind? We never even talked in real life."

I never have the falling, being chased, or sexual dreams. They are all just blah.

They may not be so blah, depending upon the interpretation.
Some time ago, I purchased a dream dictionary in paperback.
WAY less expensive than a psychologist. Anywho, you look up the gist of what you dreamt the night before and it spells out a brief description. The other night I had a vivid dream of strangling a cat (trust me, I am an animal lover). The dictionary indicated that it essentially equate to me meeting and conquering a foe.

There is no doubt some on-line version of this dictionary. When I discover it I will post.

I cannot recall having a dream before the age of 22...

The therapist said I did, I just didn't retain it consciously. Okay. Whatevah.

I have seen an analyst, who said that everyone dreams every night, assuming one reaches the R.E.M. state of sleep. What we usually do not do very well is recall our dreams. My analyst had me write them in a moleskin which I kept on my nightstand.

Evidently, there's quite a bit going on in our subconscious as we sleep, and there's not a great deal that we can do to control it. I find that utterly fascinating.

I can hardly recall my dreams. The opinions on why we are not able to recall our dreams vary greatly.

Agreed. I now know some of the reasons why I don't remember & I'm good with that. I live in the present...and enjoy some sweet dreams!

I do have a dream where I'm at a school locker & I can't open the damn thing.

I'll check those sites out.

*kisses to Mr.Music*

*kisses right back atcha'*

My anxiety dreams often have me late for a performance...missing a flight, getting lost, forgetting my tailcoat, etc

Ohhh...

I now have an image of MrMusica's tail peeking out from under his coat. ;)
