Write a controversial opinion

Just because a celebrity is a practicing Scientologist or conservative Christian is not a good reason to disqualify them from being the subject of erotic fanfic.

Satire and erotic fanfic mix just fine.

I have argued with trolls in the past regarding these issues.

Coke or Pepsi? Which is better? For my money both are slop. Rootbeer is the ONLY soft drink worth a damn.

Comshaw
Rootbeer tastes like cough syrup.

Coke is ok if it's made from cane sugar and you only take a mouthful of the froth as it bubbles up over the ice.

And my own: bacon is disgusting.

  1. Online platforms and publishers have guidelines to protect themselves, not to be followed as moral compasses. Abiding yourself to a platform's guidelines as a moral compass will only harm you, and your art.
  2. In fiction characters are fictional. They are not real people. Don't treat them like real people. Censorship leads nowhere.
  3. It's fine to not like X, Y, or Z themes. It's even fine to not write about those things if you don't want to. What's not fine is to impose your views onto other authors who do write about the themes that you dislike. You are not the audience for them.
  4. Art is a form of rebellion. No art shall be used to support any politician, party, or movements regardless as to whether they are on the left, right, center, up, down, inside, outside, outer space, in your mom's basement, or deep within Earth's anus. Art is dangerous. Use carefully.
  5. Art can and will make you uncomfortable. It supposed to be uncomfortable. Erotica is no exception.
