Still at it?

Wow! Again, after submitting my next story last Sunday, here it is Friday night and it has yet to be posted again.
I see they also seem to be having a problem with posting all the new stories at one time.
Most of the time only a few new stories are posted early then several more much later in the morning.
I guess I'm not really bitching since I still love this site. I believe it is the best of the free story sites by far, but just putting the information out there for others who maybe new at posting their stories.

Why, back when I first started, we were damn lucky if a story went up in seven days and we liked it!

Seriously, though. Seven days was fairly common back in '06, and from what I gather, it had been that way for quite some time.

This is an old story, as Dark rightly says. It's as common as jockeys complaining that the gate on their stall was slow, so that's why they lost the race. I suspect that, with the V-Day contest submissions lining up at the starting gate, there will be complaints about the slow gates; and I'm not saying that the authors involved should just grin and bear it. There was even one V-Day Entry that posted prematurely. I guess the gatekeepers are just overwhelmed.
