I couldn't find my rotary cutter and so I finally gave in and drove over to my Mom's to borrow her extra one. I wanted to get some new quilt pieces cut out. I just got home a few minutes ago and I just found it...it would have bit me on the nose had it gotten any closer. ggrrr...

Oh well..I can cut out my quilt pieces now and then sew, sew, sew to my hearts content.

Quilt anyone?!?!? :D

whats your fav pattern??

so far ive made one.. different sizes of squares :)

i want to make one with rainbows and clouds and stuff

This pattern is similar to a rail fence. I'm taking a break from triangles for awhile. The star patterns are my favorite. Getting lost in making perfect little corners becomes my passion. I love fabric...the colors, the smell and feel of crisp new cotton. I love the look on my friends faces when I give them a gift of a quilt that is handmade. Best way I can think of to wrap them in love from a distance.

I've always wanted to learn how to quilt. But my mother refuses to teach me.

I think its the memory of trying to teach me how to crochette and my never being able to get past the first row. :D

Usually wreaths, dried and silk floral arrangements... things along those lines.

I use to sketch but I haven't in years.

I love painting ceramics, but I rarely tell about that. Sounds so lame, doesn't it? lol

Painting ceramics doesn't sound lame, if I did it my eyes would glaze over ...lol

Well I'd say that molding you wouldn't help the eye glazing over problem.

I gave emi a ceramic Santa, that I painted, for Christmas this year.

Have you ever seen the Four Season plates, EE? Those are so lovely to paint and to give as gifts.

I also paint wood. Candle sticks, picture frames, step stools, etc etc.

I like this one.

It is called Storm at Sea.

I like it because of the illusion of curved lines when in fact there are not curves in it at all.
