Would you?

Why? the money is good...you get to travel and experience all sorts of things. You fly free. ;)

I think it would be fun. Going for an interview tomorrow. Oh, and plus those little suits are C-U-T-E, cute!

:D

Sure...if it got me to Denmark! :D

Hey, Nikki...what if it brought you to the states...think you could handle that thankless job then? :)

Well Nicole maybe there would be a lot more opportunities for flight attendants to join the "mile high" club.

*do they really still call them stewardesses Melody dear*

Can you feel the love between us??? LMAO

But seriously Melody, I wouldn't want the job for a few reasons

1. The sickness.

2. Fear of hights.

3. Swollen ankles.

4. Fear of planes.

5. I hate packing.

But I do wish you all the best and please let us know hoe you go. :)

I hate hearing Bub bye, Bub bye, Bub bye, Bub bye, Bub bye,Bub bye.

Good luck Melody! I agree with you, it could be quite an adventure! Certainly a great way to get around (geographically of course)! :D

Seriously, good job, good money and no homework!

Flight Attendents?

I suppose they are called that,as well.
I wouldn't mind being called a stewardess though.

Thanks for the support. It's not that I need a job or anything, I just think it would be a blast to do for a year or two. I think of all the experience I would gain...for writing and just living and I start to salivate.

:D
Anyway, thanks again!!

*hehehe*...Freudian, Nicole? LOL ;)

I was just reminded of something humorous that happened on the last flight I took on Southwest to Las Vegas. The flight attendant (who was male) was preparing the cabin for take-off when he announced to us that our peanuts would be sliding down the aisle shortly, and asked us if we wouldn't mind grabbing one for ourselves and sliding the rest down the aisle for the other passengers. So I'm thinking..."huh?" We gotta serve OURSELVES our little packets of three peanuts now AND help push the cart down the aisle?? WTF??

But as soon as we took off from the runway and the plane was on a 45-degree incline, I was LMAO as I watched tiny packets of peanuts zooming by me down the floor of the aisle. The flight attendant was "bowling" them down the aisle! People who weren't quick enough were shit outta luck. LOL (I didn't want no damn peanuts anyway! *lol*) It was hilarious to watch these sad sad people falling all over themselves for a couple of salted nuts (maybe ya had to be there to appreciate what a ridiculous scene it was), but also had me wondering about our drink service. *lol*

Anyways...good luck, Melody. I'm sure you'll make one helluva C-U-T-E stewardess...or at least have the guy passengers beggin' ya to service their nuts. ;)

I'm flying out of town tomorrow for five days -- you couldn't maybe get the job by then, could you?

"Oh, Stewardess, I need help with my buckle..."

I couldn't be a stewardess - I'm too short! lol

I've been offered a job on the cruise liners, tho'! :)

Good luck with the interview, Melody.

You say tomato, I say tomato.

Stewardess sounds so much better than flight attendant in the movie titles. Oy! what those girls get up to!!

OH MY GOD!!!!

Who the fuck read my mind?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Sorry. It's just that, after this coming year of college, I have decided to do one of two things: either transfer to a college in Canada, or become an airline stewardess. Right now, I'm leaning heavily toward the latter.

I'm absolutely intoxicated by the idea of travel, and it strikes me as the perfect job. I don't care if it's being the Waitress of the Skies.. the travel benefits are phenomenal. Hell, I almost didn't go back to college this coming year because I wanted to be a stewardess-- then I found out that they require two years of college and I've only had one.

Personally, I'd rather be the pilot.

Hey, I've considered going to a Canadian college for some time now..

Yes, this is meaningless. Did you expect any less, er, more?

*This post brought to you by Delta, it's everywhere you want to be but aren't*

What I refer to them as..... The check out chicks upstairs

Dont think I could be one but if Ohio is on the way I am there!

Da chef

I occasionally work as an international courier (People send their shippments with me rather than sending it cargo... I check it as baggage... saves about two days in customs)

Travel is a lot of fun, and it is great to see all of the exotic places stamped in your passport, but let me tell you...

Travel is also very very exhausting. Never knowing what time zone you are in, and don't even get me started on the layovers. 29 hours in a Cairo airport on standby is not fun.

On the other hand, that delivery of a painting-shaped package to a museum in Paris was not all that bad...

Personally, I'd rather work the counter in a diner. On the whole, one meets a better class of people, and the tips are good.

Good luck, dear.

*L* Wanna be my roomie, Never?

Actually, TayTay gave me this amazing deal.. If my marks go up to a two-point, she's going to help give me a brand-new life away from the sheer amount of.. dreck.. I find myself saddled with in Montana. You should come along, it'd be fun! The three mouseketeers..

Errrm. MUSKETEERS..

Regrettably, I don't think the uniform would look very good on me...I've got great legs, but I've not shaved 'em in...uh...ever. The goatee would probably not go ever well either.
