Would you quit your job and dress like a pirate everyday?

Lately I have become disillusioned with life. Tired of the rat race, conformity, the lack of meaning in my life. I am considering quiting my job and instead dressing up like a pirate everyday and walking around in public speaking loudly to myself in pirate accent and using pirate slang. I think this could fill a void in my life. I have money saved up to last about a year and not have to work. Has anyone else ever considered doing this? Or has anyone done this? Please provide details.

Go to New Orleans. Dress as pirate and hang out in pirate's alley. You will find your brethren there. Plus you may be able to obtain a job to help you with the drinking habit that will happen. Posing for pictures with tourists is an option.

Might help the tinnitus in my right ear. Supposedly MRI shows no damage to ear and auditory nerve or nerve tunnel but it did not seem to ring when I am up north. Where it is possible to have complete silence. I think it hears well enough just translates sounds, any sounds even low back ground noise to a ringing.

I haven't had a job since 1986 so sure, I can don my piratical dress and talk funny. My sister in Prescott, Arizona does that in local bars with a parrot on her shoulder and a cigar in her mouth. You'd recognize her immediately. Except she talks Brooklyn, not pirate. They're close.
