Monica is a nice enough name.. never one of my favorites, but it's fairly common. I wonder now since "Monica" is associated with one person if the name will slip into oblivion. You know how cruel kids can be.

It's a decent Monica as they say in the east end of London.

It isn't associated with just one person I know a Monica, lovely girl.

You've had worse names, how about Al? Richard? Hilary and her lying husband who's name escapes me?

Over here we have Tony and Peter.

A rose...

No because if I was lucky enough to have a daughter I'd name her Cinnabar Tulle. Really. Maybe that's why my partner is no reluctant to have children. Hmmm.

Yeah if I didn't have "reasonable" people....

alwasy bothering me......

I'd have named my kids.... shit like.....

Speck
Podd
Moiton
Drizzle
Snack
Bic
Wasz

Stuff like that.

personally......

My name is Monique.....NOT MONICA......Monica is the english version of the french Monique.

Never been teased for my name....told it is erotic.... ;)

try variations of the name.....I have odd nicknames though...Moni (as in the song) and Mo.

I have a friend named Monique. I have ALWAYS called her Mo.

Did you grow up Catholic? If you did, you'd know that Monica is a fairly common name. St. Monica was St. Augustine's mother, and prayed hard for his conversion. I, myself, have three cousins named Monica.

It is better than...

Naming your son Monica!
