Sandman, before we can tell you, you need to tell us about your computer first.

USB ports on that there comp?

Whether you do or not, I'd recommend a Logitech Quickcam. USB if possible, but I use a Parallel version on my old laptop.

Check out Ebay, if possible for you, because I got 3 new color Quickcams for under $60 brand new, including shipping.

hope this helps i had it custume built. It has an amd 800,50xcd rom 128meg ram 56k modem and40gigs. the mother board manual is for a 663as/663as pro.and set up with windows me.

it probably will help, but just to make sure see if you have USB ports on the computer, either front or back ro both. Flat 5/8" wide connectors. That's your best bet for a "newer" webcam.

IF you have USB, and you most likely do, then that's what to look for when you shop.
