Words That Set You Off

LOL. OMG. ROFL. LMAO.

I can handle these words in IM conversations and the occasional PM and then only if it's with someone who used them first. That is acceptable, all is well. One of my new aquaintances saying in an actual real life conversation (With verbal words and everything) - "Lol!" is deserving a punishment of some kind.

A terrible punishment.

I can't believe this thread died off so suddenly. rawchik, your absolutely right! Some sort of punishment is deserved for using that in a live conversation. At the very least, a slap across the face and "wake the fuck up, dumbass! We're talking face to face!!"
