tell the guy you're flirting with right off the bat you have a boyfriend, that way he wont be crushed when you drop it a few weeks later, after he asks you out on a date.

3rd straight girl in a row this has happened to me with. Just let the guy know ladies, it crushes the poor guy, and really pisses him off. Well, me at least.

just speaking from my own personal experiance here, thats all. and when no mention of any significant other is brought up...when she seemed so gung ho to get together...and then when you finally mention it, she drops that...ugh, its a killer.

I need to find a girl friend first before I can start telling the girls that I am involved. why is it that so many girls want to go out on dates but never have a real relationship. It makes me sad.
 
Eagle, maybe your first question should be "Do you have a husband or boyfriend?...or any significant other?"

Then you'll know up front. :)
 
I have no SO, and is as single as they come. It never hurts to ask someone up front.
 
Thanks Pezziebaby, and thank you as well LittleKat....god, it just SUCKS, ya know? i hope things work out...ya know, i like this girl so much, that if she's happy, then thats all that matters. she said she was "confused" about her situation with her boyfriend, she didnt know if they had totally broken it off yet...but if she does get back together with him, so be it, as long as she's happy, thats all that really matters....

I think this flies both ways, hust be opena and honest and communicate your feelings/true intentions to the other.
