heh, ok...so

the store where I buy my fancy cigarettes (nat sherman, sweet dreams, etc) has a shortage of good employees i guess.

and i would go there like every morning to talk to the clerk.

(yes i have no social life in this town...)

And he'd been asking me to come work for them.
He even ok'd it with the boss to start me at $8.
I had only been getting $7.5 at Valero.

He also offered me like 4-12p instead of 10p-7a, so...major plus there.

This store is a "gay" store, owned and operated for the most part.
They have like 4 stores, a shopping center, a restaurant...and a bunch of rent places.

And apparently they rent out their apartments to employees at discounted rates, with no deposits whatsoever. Booyah. About to get one of those here in about a week.

Within the first week of working in this store, some guy, a black guy (not that I care, but a little detail never hurts.) Starts telling me how fine I am, asking if I'm gay...etc. My bullshit meter goes off, but in a why not moment, gave him my number.

He calls like 4 days later, I go over there...and we spent all night talking.
I move -slow- sexually, because if I dont have the emotions to go with, it doesnt work for me. We've been seeing each other for like a week now.

So, things are kind of looking up in my life.

I also found a "members only" type poker game where you have to know someone important to get invited. I've only lost $270 so far. o.0 (I suck at holdem apparently. Need to do some reading.)

Anyway, that's whats up with me.
Don't have internet at home right now, and the laptop i had been borrowing to use local wifi was returned. So i have limited access to internet right now, but once I get my place, I'll likely get my cable internet going.
