Tens of thousands of women packed the streets of Washington for a massive Saturday rally against President Trump, with the turnout expected to double that of his inauguration.

The protesters came from across the nation to express their disgust with Trump’s election just one day after he took the oath of office at the U.S. Capitol.

“We have put this man in the office who is a terrible role model, teaching people that bullies are acceptable and women are property,” said protester Kelly Hansen, 32, who traveled down from Boston.

“It’s completely unacceptable,” she added. “It’s setting us back 50 years.”

Deep thinkers are marching today:

[Ashley] Judd was reciting a poem written by a 19-year-old from Tennessee when she read the line: 'I feel Hitler in these streets, a mustache traded for a toupee.'

The poem was a celebration of 'nasty women', as Trump so famously called Hillary Clinton during a debate before the presidential election.

'I am a nasty women,' Judd began as she read the poem. 'I'm not as nasty as a man who looks like he bathes in Cheeto dust.'

'I'm not as nasty as your own daughter being your favorite sex symbol, your wet dreams infused with your own genes,' she read later, clearly referencing Ivanka.

There is speculation Trumps first pro active action as President will be to offer free womans sanitary products(Tampons and pads) country wide in a move to quel such protests.
I'm not conviced thats the right way to plug the hole in that emotional Dam of feminism.

Sounds legit to me.

I "businessman" completely and utterly focused on money, owned by a bunch of other money focused businessmen would NEVER offer free products. Especially to *gasp* women.

For someone who has spent the last 18 months equating crowd size with popularity, these last couple of days have to be a massive kick to the nads.

I believe the products are covered under the military budget as 'Domestic Defense Expenditure' under subsection: 'field dressings' and 'WMD Countermeasures'.

There.
Feel better?
Can we all now put on our big girl panties and get back to life? Real life?

Oh, I feel so deplorable right now.
Someone quick hand me a hankie so I can be a manpussy like half the males here.

BTW, since W also set us back 50 years, it's now 1917.

Aside from making themselves feel good what specifics did these people accomplish?

I'm of mixed feelings as to what will come of todays march but have the following observations. They knocked their attendance out of the ballpark and got noticed. The Million Man March all of those years ago only had about 400K or so, the Women's March tromped all over those numbers. There was solid media coverage and some pretty effective marshaling via Tweet and such by their leadership. I think they did a very good job and expressed their fears, disenchantment and angst. Lets see if all of their fears were warranted.

apparently, there are so many dudes in need of these
