This may be the wrong place to post this but, I watched this the other night and it actually brought tears to my eyes. Especially the little girls. (I think I was sobbing at the one who said her mom is her hero)
I read too much "I'm a woman and therefore, submissive" and also get messages like "you just haven't found the right Dom"

But geez, this really opened my eyes. I'm not a total feminist either, just, really, I mean really?

Please watch and share

Wonder woman lost her powers and opened a boutique? Really? I'd love to kick the nads of whoever wrote that.

Yeah, actually-- you are a total feminist. Just, not a radical feminist. Most of us are not radical.

And this lady might make you feel better; Kelly Sue Comics writer

I'm not a comics kind of person, but I'll check it out.

A few women in the documentary, mentioned that it was time for a live action Wonder Woman movie, I think Joss Whedon, the perfect person to make this happen. He clearly understands strong women. Let's start the campaign :)

Agreed! There are a lot of directors out there actually. It's the producers that are the problem. The money men.

She writes the new Captain Marvel series! I like Ms./Captain Marvel a lot, but she has not been treated well by her writers over the years. I like her new series, though. It's about time she was made awesome again.

*Waits impatiently for a new Spider-Woman solo series*

Also-also, I want the two shirts at the top of this page. Kelly Sue DeConnick apparently had a hand in their making. *Do want*

/dorky Bunny for real this time

I wish I could find the documentary in my OP on line but they reaired it the other night. It's worth some searching to find out when they may air it again.

I caught the last half of this http://www.nakedoptionmovie.com/ today on one of the public access channels. It is soooo good
Found it online I think (haven't tried to watch it yet as my phone is dying)

I'm afraid to watch; that shit riles me up SO BADLY and makes me want to throttle people. And I probably do need to sleep eventually... xD

This movie made me feel proud of these women. Yes, riled up but not as riled up as the one episode of "Bridezilla" I saw, that riled me up with shame.

Watch it. You'll chuckle too at times.

Okay...as long as it's a good kind of clip...from your comments and the thread, I hadn't been able to interpret what kind of tone the video had.
