if you did not over fill the condom where the rubber was stretching, it would work just like a shaped container

I'm not convinced-I think you'd need a mould to hold it...water is fluid and moves around too much-if you laid it down it would flatten, if you held it up, it would collect at the bottom. latex isn't firm enough to be a shaped container...it may be a long time since I did physics but I just can't picture it myself...

Just an fyi on the condom filled w/ water - the way I made it was to use a cardboard insert tube (think the middle of a roll of paper towels)

I took the condom, unrolled - inserted it into the cardboard tube -I DID trim the tube just a little bit, and as a result once frozen, it had a curved tip -, lapped the edge of the condom over the roll of cardboard, and taped the edge in place.

I then placed the cardboard into a pilsner glass (long slender beer glass w/ a wide base).

Carefully filled the condom w/ water - and then froze it .

One word of caution you CAN get frostbite doing this!!!

Obviously it's ice it will melt, you will get wet - keep towels handy
